I still do not know what to think of Bishkek. It is a city of mixed feelings. Reminiscence of USSR basically everywhere. Huge boulevards in city center and just few blocks away practically village feeling. It is definitely worth visit when in Kyrgyzstan.

Kok Moinok canyon, Chong Kemin village, Chunkurchak valley, Burana Tower, and Ala Archa National Natural Park.
These country is full of wonders and beautiful landscape.

The country has a lot of opportunities for tourists. But need to improve with lot of facilities. What I noticed is lack of taxi service. Taxis have no uniformity; as such, a tourist cannot identify a taxi from a private car. There were no signs of a 'taxi' being provided. The taxi drivers we travelled with do not speak English, which made us very uncomfortable, but we used Google Translate to communicate. Need more supermarkets.
Bishkek is beautiful, very clean and the people are very friendly.

One of the best destinations where you can find great nature...
One of the best destinations where you can find great nature, mountains, waterfalls, and hiking within an hour from the city center, if not less.
If you have a few hours, you must visit the Ala-Archa Gorge, if you have a whole day but do not want to go far and physically not very prepared, then in Alamedin Gorge, there you can walk to the waterfall, an easy route, not hurrying for four hours in two directions.
It is obligatory to visit Diar cafe (Lebedinovka village), and it is in the express cafe where locals eat - one of the most delicious Lagman (as soup) in the city.
as well as Turkish cafe Duet (Kievskaya street) - Adana kebab, tombik doner or lentil soup.
Taxi around the city are not expensive, but you can get into serious traffic jams in rush hours.

Bishkek is a wonderful city that makes you feel like you're still living and walking through the old streets of Soviet times. I went for 3 days while studying abroad in Kazakhstan in order to see the region and I was blown away by the history and culture.
Fine for a quick stay. I arrived at 3am, and they were okay with this. Hotel was responsive to my contact prior to arrival, and arranged a taxi to pick me up at the airport, which was very appreciated since finding the entrance of the place wasn't clear... There's no sign and you walk down a sort of dark path... If I'd been dropped by a taxi driver that hadn't been arranged I'd definitely question if it was really the right place..
Breakfast was fine, WiFi worked well, and room was basic, but comfortable enough.
Everything is as always at the highest level! In the restaurant, they can always cook something especially tasty and healthy, and in the SPA, the magnificent master Baitik will restore the body after a long flight or intense training. Very pleased with the compliments from the Hotel. In ORION there is always a feeling that I am at home and I am the most special guest. If you are looking for a special experience, you should definitely visit the ORION Hotel. Really one of the best Hotel in the world!!!
Cosy hotel located in the heart of Bishkek. Not only that it is centrally located, but it is surrounded by beautiful park with several nice restaurants and cafes.

Great location, friendly staff, spacious and clean room, and very comfortable beds (which has not always been the case with other hotels of this price range - and more expensive places - in Kyrgyzstan). There is a small section of street parking in front of the hotel, however we never had a problem finding a spot there in the evening. For the price range, really great hotel.
I was so surprised by this hotel - the photos don't do it justice at all. It's a really brilliant hotel with a great breakfast and very comfortable rooms. I thought it would be a dated, corporate style hotel by the photos but it wasn't like that at all. The price was similar to other hotels I stayed in in Bishkek which were far far worse, so it's very good value for money.

That's the perfect place to stay. I was there in the middle of September, staying for a few days for business. The weather is really nice. Close to the city center, quite. The hotel is new. This hotel appears contemporary and pristine and can be viewed in a positive way in some respects. On the surface the rooms are well equipped e.g. the bathroom has separate glass enclosure for the shower, bed robes are supplied. One of the least expensive options in Bishkek, however it is a 29 minute walk to Chuy Avenue (city centre).
I have stayed at this hotel a couple of times now. The staff is the best. They have helped me with everything that I needed. I recommend this hotel to anyone who is visiting bishkek. Everything is perfect, no need to even consider other hotels. You will not regret it.
