What a pleasant surprise this hotel was, really great rooms, super friendly staff, a washmachine and dryer in your room to use for free, wow! On booking.com, the hotel comes accross as a bit shabby, but it is not at all. Everything is very new, spacious and well maintained.

Okayama is very convenient to transfer by trains to other sightseeing cities and places around, such as Kurashiki, Himeji, Naoshima Island, Teshima Island. The city is not very big, but worthy of a one-day walk around the castle and its royal park. The local people are friendly and most places are quiet, clean.
The Okayama's peaches are very delicious, juicious and sweet. Highly recommended!

I chose Okayama as a destination because I wanted to see Korakuen Gardens rated as one of 3 best in Japan.
I also wanted to see Naoshima Art Island and it made a good day trip.
The Kibitsu-jinja Shinto Temple was a fantastic complex. And out in the country a bit so peaceful. Another good day trip.
The local Art Gallery had a good exhibition on and the Castle was one of the best I've seen.
The town is just a good size. All conveniences without the Osaka scramble.

Bustling and thriving, really cool underground mall / restaurant alley next to the JR Okiyama station. Many dining options in that vacinity. I was only in town for eighteen hours, barely saw anything but had a nice visit on my way to the ultimate destination.

Very beautiful and underrated area of Japan. All the sights were lovely and it’s a good area if you’re interested in history, and leisure outdoor activities. I’d recommend really planning out your time since the transportation isn’t as frequent as Tokyo and lots of places close pretty early around 5/6pm.

There were beautiful gardens in the city including the wonderful botanic garden. The castle was also interesting. In addition, Okayama is a wonderful place to stay with day trips to wonderful cities/sites such as Hiroshima, Kurashiki, Naoshima or Himeji Castle.

Okayama is very pleasant and easygoing, with lots of walking possibilities. It is also located in between big tourist centers that can be easily reached from Okayama. People in Okayama are very nice and friendly, and food is really delicious.
It is very close to Okayama Castle and the Kohraken Gardens. It is also close to the Art Gallery and the Museum. Several stops from the Okayama Station to the hotel on a tram. There is a Lawson Convenience store 50 m away. Property door open 24/7 with the reception desk.
The hotel is in a convenient location between the yrain station and beautiful Koraku-en Gardens. We also used Okayama as base to visit Hiroshima, only some 40 minutes by Shinkansen.
The room was comfortable and a good size. The Japanese buffet breakfast was good.
Staff were all friendly and very helpful .
The location is great not too far from station and also tram station for Korakuen garden and Okayama.
Plenty of lovely restaurant and bar kitchens around .
Will definitely consider to use this friendly hotel again .
The hotel is located close to Okayama Station and the centre of the city. It was easy to get around from our Hotel. The staff are great and caring.
I was so happy with Pur stay that I booked Mitsui Garden Hotels for my return trip to Horishima and Tokyo.
Definitely large size for Japanese hotel, best in 13 night stay in 6 or 7 locations. Good location with relative closeness to station and also in the middle of the night life & restaurant area in the city. 11am checkout better than some.
