The hotel was very stylish and the staff was super friendly. The room we had was cozy and modern. Also the housekeeping was excellent. A highlight was the public bath on the roof, with complimentary ice cream after a visit. The location was great. Right in the middle of Nagoya, with many interesting places to visit and explore. I loved Nagoya.
I loved Nagoya. Locals are so friendly - we were looking for a place to eat and a very kind gentleman from the government building actually came up to us and asked us if he could help us. Even though he was working, he took 10 minutes to show us which direction to go for Nagoya castle, and explained to us how the card system works. Japan is amazing. Thankyou for your wonderful hospitality.

Nagoya is the best city I’ve ever been.
Nagoya is the best city I’ve ever been. It’s busy environment, crowds, great sceneries, transportation system and offcourse the city illumations are really heart throbbing. It deserves one time visit in a life time. I’ve even been to Tokyo’s Ginza, Shibuya, Shinjuku but my personal experience is that Nagoya is much better and convenient then them.

Nagoya's not like your other big cities in Japan (like Osaka, Kyoto, Tokyo, Fukuoka). There aren't many standout sightseeing spots or the like, so it might feel a bit dull if you are expecting those. But it is an excellent city to vibe in. Enjoy Japanese culture on a more relaxed - less touristy - way.

Nagoya has a lot of cool areas and walkable zones.
Nagoya has a lot of cool areas and walkable zones. Less than some of the more touristy cities in Japan, but definitely worth visiting and exploring. Lots of tasty food and the district near my hotel was actually really pretty despite being more industrial than commercial.

We didn’t have much time to explore Nagoya as it was our starting point to travel to Shiroko for the Formula 1 race at Suzuka Circuit (Thurs- Sun) We did see a lot of Nagoya Station as we arrived & departed from there, walking to the apartment on arrival and back to the station on departure. It was an easy walk, not busy with many pedestrians until nearing the station. We went to the mini marts (7 Eleven also) numerous times for food and drink which we carried home. Also had meals at several of the restaurants nearby. A great location and wonderful accommodation! Would highly recommend.
the hotel was located close to the train station and BIC camera, which made for convenient shopping. The libby was airy and spacious. The room was of decent size and clean.
Check in was a breeze, as the staff was very friendly and explained everything clearly. Check out was done at the terminal. Again, hassle free.
We could leave our luggage with the hotel after checking out , and collected them after a spot of sightseeing. As gain, the front desk staff was very helpful in explaining to us what trains we should take to get to Nagoya castle
Excellent breakfast which suits everyone. They had Asian as well as western dishes and were all tasty.
The facilities offered were exceptional. They had coffee machines which were offered free of charge to all inhouse guests and the lobby area had lot of daily essentials which could be taken if needed.
It is situated few minutes away from the Nagoya station and lot of eating places were around. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.
The hotel was very near the Nagoya station (accessible JR, Meitetsu, Kintetsu, local subway - railways and buses). Walking from the airport train exit to the hotel lobby was just a few minutes away. B1 of the hotel leads to the underground walkways of the station which provided short cuts instead of walking above ground. There were lots of food shops where you can buy bento boxes and snacks in the underground.
Beautiful and modern hotel, helpful staff who speak good English and huge rooms with all modern comforts, ours even had a sofa! Especially loved the relaxing extras such as heat eye masks and cooling pads for legs - after all day walking it was a really nice touch. The hotel is within walking distance to Nagoya Station and one of the metro stations as well.
It's one of good hotel chain in name of APA Hotel. not too far from Nagoya station (although there are construction site that make me walk a lot in my trip time) . Onsen bath quite big ,but in the time i use, there are lot of teenage play in a bath. they quite annoy me.
Space in hotel quite very wide although room quite narrow but it's OK.
Everything was great at this hotel. It has direct access from the Nagoya station, which has all the necessities one could want. The room, hotel amenities, bathroom accessories, and everything was great. Hotel staff was very courteous and accommodating. Breakfast was fantastic. This hotel was one of the best I have stayed at in Japan.
-reasonable rate for solo travelers
-proximity to Nagoya station from JR, Kintetsu, Meitetsu to the municipal subway
-hotel staffs' friendliness: cool with customer services without rudeness
-24H cafe on the first floor
-delicate amenities in the room on the sidelines of premium ones arranged in front of the consierge
Standard room size for a solo traveler.
Location - it was easy to go to/from the Nagoya Station. The directions were not complicated if you follow Google Maps. This is why I chose this hotel in the first place.
Baggage storage - You can leave your luggage if you arrived earlier than the check in time.
This hotel was nice. It had a good breakfast where they even had local cuisine. The location is good, just nearby the station in Nagoya and it was not so difficult to access. There were many amenities you could take from, even lamps to read, hair gadgets and more. I was really surprised about that!
Convenient location close to Nagoya Station with a short walk to the shinkansen or airport train. The room was standard and had everything we needed. Easy check in and check out. Pillows were super hard but you can change them downstairs for softer ones if they have them in stock.
There is an amenity bar that includes drip coffee bags and one's choice of pillow. The hotel is directly behind Nagoya station and easily reached through the underground shopping area. The room was small, as expected, but well organized and comfortable.
Most important is the location! The hotel is literally in front of Nagoya Station, just across the street. The facility is well kept while being minimal. They offer a variety of amenities and even different types of pillows to choose from.
We only stayed one night as we were visiting Ghibli Park. Very affordable hotel near Nagoya station. Room was quiet - no noise from the street. We could leave the baggage in the morning before check in.
this hotel is so close to Nagoya station and above the underground mall which was handy as it was raining the day we stayed. The hotel has a fun yet relaxed vibe and nicely priced for what they offer.
The location is not too far from Nagoya Station. Ichiran Ramen is just only 40 m from hotel, so it's very good for us. Yamachan is also not too far. Room size is very narrow, but is very clean.
I loved the breakfast buffet. Staff is friendly. Loved the shuttle services to and from the hotel. You just need to find it outside Exit 4 Unimall if you want to take it from Nagoya Station.
I liked that the hotel was close to Nagoya station.
The hotel was really quiet and peaceful.
There was free wi-fi and the room was smoke-free.
The staff were super nice and helpful.
