I have stayed at the Rembrandt several time before and it is one of my favourite hotels.
It is very conveniently located, the breakfast is generous, rooms are well-organised and, most importantly, the staff are very professional, friendly and helpful.
At the time I booked, only smoking rooms were available, but the hotel was so kind to (almost) completely refresh it.
Thanks you.

The hotel was short walk from the train. Everything was clean. Some staff were friendly. Overall, for a short stay, not bad.

Machida is a very functional place. There was plenty to do, shopping sampling their food and customs. There was high end shopping as well as regular shopping. Most people were polite and respectful. The train can take you just about anywhere in Tokyo.

Well, since I am still in Machida currently, but at different accommodations, I can recommend this city if you don't want the hustle and bustle of Tokyo, but relatively close to Tokyo which I believe Tokyo proper is about an hour train ride to get to. I guess I would classify this place as a suburb of Tokyo as it is in the Tokyo Prefecture. I have eaten at several restaurants and the food was great to me, although I didn't eat a lot. I have been going to Seiyu (Formerly Walmart Japan) and a 100 yen shop called Daiso frequently and the people are very nice and helpful. It is very easy to get around Machida as they have excellent train and bus service to where ever you want to go to. The train station in Machida is huge and I think it is hub point in the western Tokyo prefecture. I have been doing a lot of walking. If you love going to Starbucks, there are many Starbucks stores in the city.

I could find any negative thing to write about.
I could find any negative thing to write about. The city was great and I was blown away by the friendly nature of the people there. Shops were a plenty, and food places, you could dine somewhere different every night and still not go to everywhere .
Google maps gets you anywhere you need to go including the trains, so a trip to Tokyo city is easy to navigate with trains on time, every time.

Machida is a busy city, with a lot to do.
Machida is a busy city, with a lot to do. Transport in and around is easy to use, and easy to travel to other parts of Japan.
Within Machida there are many many places to eat, from traditional Japanese, to steak and western food.
Machida is lovely clean city, with all the shops you would expect to find.
We didn’t know much about the ‘adult only’ concept of the hotel before coming but it turned out to be efficient; all facilities provided were excellent, we didn’t need to contact anyone. We ordered room service from the tv and the food was served delicious and fresh; amenities were impressive and hot and cold water provided. We were locked in until we paid at the machine in the room.
I had A breakfast there. It is a very small izakaya kind of place, but food was delicious, lots of variety. Room is good enough for a short stay, and easy reach from the station. You can actually find lots of interesting shops on the way to the hotel. I planed to use another APA hotel next day, so I became a member.
A unique accommodation, essentially an annex to the main house which is also a soba noodle restaurant with a traditional Japanese garden. A toilet and sink is in the self-contained unit, a few steps walk to the main building for a shower. Very close to Machida station but quiet residential area.
very helpful and polite hostel staff ..location is very nice and only 4-5 mins from machida station from which you can be in the heart of Tokyo with just one train for 26 minutes …highly recommended place and I will definitely book there again . thank you Busoan staff
Nice stay, close to Machida station (google maps says 3min, but it actually takes around 5-10min to get there). Room is clean and spacious enough to open the baggage. Staffs are very friendly, basic communication in English is no problem. Very recommended!
it’s a Japanese love hotel, the bed was big and so was the bath. you can’t leave the room simply though, you have to call the front desk and tell them you’ll be leaving and they’ll unlock the door for you.
Good bed size for a double room in Japan. Clean room and good location of the hotel. Definitely a good choice. Supermarket next to the hotel and stores and malls
Excellent location - 5 minute walk from Machida Station. Rooms were clean, beds were comfy, shower had plenty of pressure and hot water. Who could ask for more?
