The traditional Japanese style of the house was charming. Everything was perfectly clean, the kitchen extremely well equipped and the futon beds very comfortable. Nothing was lacking and the house was very spacious. Also, the host came to greet us before we left and was super nice.

For me this was perfect, but if you are looking for vibrant night life and activity, you'd be advised to explore a larger city. Katsuura is the perfect spot to go to decompress and escape the hustle/bustle of big city life.
