This is modern hotel that is perfectly sited immediately outside of the main railway station, and in a great position for the covered shopping streets. It is also a twenty minute walk to the castle, which is the main attraction in the city.
The room was large, by Japanese standards, and the bathroom sufficient for normal living.
The breakfast buffet, served at the top of the hotel is very extensive and the staff attentive.

super nice to spend a day and a night, or even just a day.
super nice to spend a day and a night, or even just a day. I was doubting whether to stop or not on my way to Hiroshima, at the end we booked one night and it was a great decision. I wouldn't have stayed longer.

Himeji has always been a favourite place to visit.
Himeji has always been a favourite place to visit. This is my 3rd or 4th visit. In cherry blossom season, it is nothing short of spectacular. In winter, it's not so green, but the gardens are still worth seeing and wandering through. The castle itself is worth every cent of the entry fee and one could easily spend 2 or more hours exploring all the nooks and crannies before even reaching the 6 floor castle. Climbing to the top is must, but remember you will need to take off your shoes (and the stairs are more like wide rung ladders, so hold onto the rails!
The eateries are also worthwhile visiting, with plenty of choice in the area between the station and the castle. We visited a Vietnamese restaurant at lunchtime - it was huge and totally empty apart from us, and the food was fabulous - we chose banh mi which was just as good as in its' home country.

Loved arriving on the train and as we exited the station in the evening all the Christmas lights on the wide Avenue running straight from station to the lit up Himeji Castle in the distance..just stunning. The castle is amazing and a beautiful garden alongside it. Lovely to stroll around.

Himeji castle is a must see.
Himeji castle is a must see. Extremely interesting and along with the associated park is a good 3 hour adventure. Free English speaking guides at the entrance will accompany you. Well sign posted with many displays along the route through the castle in English.

I have been here so many times.
I have been here so many times. The castle, Himeji Central Park, the aquarium.... there are so many wonderful places to visit, and at the same time, it is full of terrific shops and restaurants. I don't think there is anybody who would NOT have a good time in this pleasant little city.

The castle exceeded our expectations.
The castle exceeded our expectations. You can access the entire castle and grounds and it is more beautiful than any photo I'd seen of it. Also, the multitude of alleyways and shops is lovely, safe and fun
The bed was extreamly comfortable, the room was very clean, the public bath inside the hotel is a must if you're staying and even tho it was right next to the train station you couldn't hear anything, the staff was very nice and helpful.
The lawson's inside the hotel was very handy and the caffe Veloce that has an entrance inside the hotel is a great place for breackfast if you like to wake up a little later. It's located at a walking distance from Himeji Castle
Excellent location. Close to the train station, Himeji castle, shops and restaurants. The beds were very comfy and spacious. Extra blankets provided for no extra cost. Coffee, and teas also available for no extra cost. Showers had very good water pressure, with soap, shampoo, and conditioner provided. Towels also provided. Host was very very nice and accommodating. Nice lounge area with a TV available for all to use.
I thought this hotel was of a very good quality - more than a 3 star hotel. The customer service was excellent as it was throughout Japan. The room was comfortable and a good size and it had a great view out over the city. The hotel is close to the station and it was very easy to walk there and also to Himeji Castle. I had breakfast downstairs one morning, which was quite good value for money.
The features of a business hotel were available including a microwave near reception. We could easily walk to a supermarket to pick up food to eat in. Also, we were able to walk comfortably to the Castle and train station. There was a slightly higher than usual step up into the bathroom which is OK for us but could be a challenge for someone with impaired mobility.
Most amazing buffet breakfast of our two-week trip in Japan! Elegant decor, gracious staff. art exhibit in hallways. Our two beds room was comfortable and spacious, parking convenient and reasonably priced. Not far from Himeji castle with great view of it from breakfast room. Cozy beds and nice bathroom. Super low price for all of this!
The hotel is a bit far away from the Himeji JR station (15 minutes walk from station and 30 minutes walk from Himeji jo). Suggest to take the shuttle bus or TAXI. The ohuro (Japanese SPA) is really amazing!! There are a lot of onsen pools you can enjoy and there is a sauna room. The front desk service is really kind and helpful.
Brilliant ! The hotel is about 400m away from Himeji Castle and only 10min from the JR HIMEJI station by foot. Room is clean and the staff is super helpful. Possibility to do laundry if needed. washing machines are automated (laundry powder included) 400¥ {washing machine 300¥ + dryer 30min foe 100¥}.
The hosts were super nice and kind. They speak fluent english also, so if you don't speak Japanese that's not a problem.
The lobby is super comfortable, the shower is spacious and clean.
It's near the castle of Himeji so very convenient also.
I definitely recommend if you're staying in Himeji !
Well situated near JR Himeji - railway station - and the Himeji castle and gardens, main touristic location. Good value for money. They gave me a double room instead of a single one, as it was available and I asked a not noisy one, on a lower floor.
location only 10 minutes walk from train station and also Himeji castle.
The lady was very kind show me the luggage transfer business where I sent our luggage . Quiet area at night . Facilities good. AC works well.
Good location right next to the train station, easy access to local shopping street and to the main road leading to Himeji Castle. Nice bathroom/shower. Friendly staff, and clean.
Wonderful place to stay in Himeji! Very close to the train station an walking distance to the Himeji castle too. Our room was very spacious and clean with comfy beds.
Location is great! It is a short walk to Himeji Castle and close to many restaurants and shops! The hotel is also just a 5 minute walk from train station.
