When you imagine that you travel to a friends who lives at the village in Europe, what would you expect? Probably village life, which is different than the one in the city. What would you expect when you travel to desert? Probably much less confortable place than you can find here at MalakoRum. Very confortable rooms, european type of toilet, hot shower (we vere there just at the end of calendar year - so in winter time). Wow and such delicious dinner freshly cooked by the hosts. The stay for us was like visiting friends who moved to desert to farm there. So we expected animals around, and we loved it. When you see beduins next the desert streets they have also animals around. So the experience from the desert life was way more much authentic then the games played to tourist elsevere. We expected and loved that touch of authenticity. Jo was very kind all the time to explain all the things we were curious about - desert life,geology, history etc. and she turn to be very rich well of knowledge. She offered us a hiking tour in the mountains around and it was unexpectedly experience with a little climbing at the top of near hill top with wonderful view. Jafar may seem to be harsh and bitter, as the desert fruit are, on the first glance. But when you let to know him a little bit more you will find the cool and broad hearted man you can love. We had four-wheeler car so we wanted to travel more in desert, but without any experience of desert ride. Jo and Jafar helped us to plan our little desert trip, just for the time we had. That trip was also wonderful experience which we would have not undergo without the help of our "desert" friends. Thank you for encouraging and helping.

Our stay at Wadi Rum Al Omar was amazing! The rooms had a beautiful view and were well equipped. Omar and his family were exceptional and very welcoming. They made our stay very comfortable and enjoyable. The ambiance was 10/10. The food was very delicious and there was a variety of options available in abundance. The tours provided by Omar were excellent and we had a lot of fun!! Omar was very honest and patient, and always willing to help. I would highly recommend this property and wish I had more days to spend there.

‏눀 – ‏‪ – The overall experience at the camp was splendid. Omar and his family were amazing hosts, always making sure that we were doing okay and having a great time. I did the hiking and the full day jeep tour with the camp as well and I have to say it was one of the best experiences I have ever had and was well worth the money.‬‏

Loved the bubbles out in the middle of the desert. They organised all our tours - staff were helpful/funny.

Location is perfect, there are tours and plenty of activities available there. Breakfast and dinner were delicious and sleeping in the bubble was an unforgettable experience

Staying at this camp was one of the best decisions I've ever made. Words are not enough to describe how we feel here. If you decide to travel to Jordan, you should visit this place. We arrived before sunset and had the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful sunset on our way to the camp. In the evening we had a classic Bedouin dinner, which we enjoyed a lot. The people were especially nice and the whole camp had a pleasant atmosphere. The view from the room was really exceptional. In the evening we lay on the swing and saw the sky and in the morning we watched the sunrise and the beauty of the surroundings. We rode the camel in the desert and also a jeep tour. If you're here, try it for sure. Thank you for everything. This place won with our hearts.

The camp is pretty, with view, very nice landscaping , clean rooms .

The location of the hotel is amazing. With the SUV it's easy to reach any part of Wadi Rum. The food and personel at the hotel are impressive. The manager Aied organized our three-day's trip in Wadi Rum. Our guide Aschraf and Hani are very kind and always listened us.

One of the most peaceful places on earth + Wow! What a magnificent place on earth. So peaceful. The tents faced the sunrise, which was a special treat. We sat outside in the mornings with our coffee and enjoyed watching the camels go by, and the hot air balloons take flight. Abdullah was a special host. Always making sure we were comfortable & asking us if we needed anything. There are many activities he can arrange for you. We took an amazing sunset jeep tour. The beds were comfortable, the air conditioning worked perfectly and the breakfast and dinner was amazing. We only stayed 2 nights. I wished we had stayed longer. We are already planning a trip back. - Nothing
