The staff wear the Riu title with pride and they have been the icing on the RIU cake for this stay.. The room request upon booking to be near the elevator to minimize walking but as high as possible was taken into consideration hence the stay was very comfortable for my mother and this makes us eager to book another holiday at Aquarelle, thank you front office. The separation of the WC is a welcomed room feature and the fridge is stocked as needed. Everyone makes time to speak with you while they are working so a single traveller will not feel lonely here, and the turn down option makes one feel pampered. There are many nooks and seating areas spread across the hotel including at the pools and along the beach so there is additional comfort and peace of mind in knowing that you are not in competion for comfort just relax and enjoy the comforts at your own timing. The food variety in the main buffet area reflects the Jamaican tasty favorites and if you are a meat eater...try everything Jamaican because after all, you are in Jamaica. Go early though if you like your food hot/warm, and other guests also commented that the attention to local offerings is among the best of all of RIU. Great vegetarian options too so we decided to not try the specialty restaurants and have no regrets as Chantelle N and others gave us the best attention and service we could desire, nothing too much to ask just maybe a bit of time to wait depending on what was going on. Orlando and team made our trip one hard to walk away from and for the names not mentioned, EVERYONE was so interested in making sure we knew how important it was to them that we return. Gawayne is an excellent host, answered all concerns we had. The place was clean and fresh upon arrival. The home is spacious , kitchen equipped with all needed and very modern. We appreciated that it was fully air conditioned !

The pool in the backyard totally topped it, my family and I enjoyed it!! Location is close to stores, gas station etc but also very calm and quiet . Great home for families and friends to relax and have fun! We would definitely stay again!.

Our hosts were warm, polite, and welcoming people. Easy to contact, fast to respond to queries and requests. The house is a homely retreat in a restful area. Well-equipped and clean. The interior matches the pictures, very nice, would visit again and I would recommend it to others. We had a car to take us the short distance into Falmouth shopping center about 5-10 minutes drive. The Burwood beach is about 5 minute drive, and the Jerk center is appropriately about 45 minutes away but KFC, pizza, etc about a 10-minute drive. There are a couple of roadside stalls selling fruit n' veg, barbeque chicken, and freshly cooked soup daily, just a short walk up the road, from the main drive through gated entrance of the estate.
