The hotel and it's staff were fantastic. The rooms were clean, the breakfast had plenty of choice, including bacon and scrambled eggs along with a full continental selection. There were great restaurants close by as well as a small ish shopping mall with a supermarket.
Alla Corte delle Terme is set in extensive grounds, and offers a free shuttle to/from the Terme dei Papi thermal baths, 2.5 km away.

One of the best hotels we stayed in Italy. Located outside Viterbo in beautiful area. The structure is dated, but in good condition. There is a nice pool and very good restorant. The room was spacious and we had a big terace.

The room was simple and had everything you need for a quick stay. The man who met me at the gate (don't go to the gate, there's a walk-way that my tired eyes didn't see) was so sweet. The grounds are beautiful, everything was so quiet, the sunset was amazing, and there are kitties on the property.

Viterbo is a beautiful, charming little town, with some interesting tourist attractions, excellent bars and restaurants, and amazing thermal bath facilities close by in the area. Recommend having a car and visiting the thermal baths, they have day and evening options.

a quaint town that seems to have frozen in time. it is a lovely but slow paced place and the roads are really tiny to the point where driving is large car is not recommended. people are friendly and there are a lot of teen agers and university students. you can find cute shops and lovely dining options. unfortunately, i didn't get to tour the town but i heard that there are interesting places to visit.

I found a small trattoria and ate very well for 20 Euro - so I went there the next day.

Viterbo has a very large historic area, quite a lot of which is either pedestrianised or restricted to local traffic. It has a lot of parking areas outside the historic area, and there are elevators from two of them to the edge of the centre. It is not only an interesting place to walk around, but the countryside around is well worth investigating.

We found Viterbo to be an underrated gem of a town. It was a university town which meant it provided a youthful population, with lots of eating options and price points. The medieval center of town was amazingly beautiful, and the locals were very friendly. It is easy to access nearby sites from this city, while still being close to Rome. We loved it and while it was not a city we planned to visit, we are so glad we did.
There is not a single thing that we did not love about Casa Claudia. It is an amazing vacation property, located in the centre of historic Viterbo. Claudia's care and thoughtfulness in every detail was impressive. We requested a gluten free option for breakfast, and Claudia provided several selections, as well as other delightful breakfast foods. I would rate Casa Claudia as a 100%!
The owner Elisabetta went above and beyond to make my stay in Viterbo more enjoyable. From suggesting a destination to storing my backpack, but above all being the nicest host! The location was very good, close to the theater. The accommodation was a great value. If I came back to the charming city of Viterbo, I'd stay here again.
Great location in centre of medieval town. Lots of cafes, bars and restaurants on your door step. Wonderful host who could not have been more helpful. Comfortable room. Viterbo is an interesting historic town which can be used as a base from which to explore the surrounding area which is rich in etruscan history and geothermal spas.
The host Stefania is really a perfect host, she met all our requests in a nice and friendly way. This is a stay, fully customized by her, up to your taste and preferences including what you want to get at your breakfast and what hour :)
If you want to have a look at Viterbo, I will definitely recommend this place.
The location is amazing, right in the historic center and within walking distance of all the wonderful sights to see in Viterbo. Walter and Cinzia, the hosts, were delightful. They made sure everything about our stay was perfect and we always available to help answer any of our questions or needs.
Facilities and spaciousness were great. The apartment was very well equipped. Lots of extras, eg. coffee, tea, jam, oil, washing liquid, etc, were included. Hostess was very accommodating re a slightly late departure. Viterbo itself is a great city to visit. I hope to return.

The hosts are were very kind and provided me with a lot of information. The B&B is at a great location, right next to the terme dei papi as well as near two other, openly accessible, terms. Because I travel by train, they picked me up with the car.
The property was clean, relaxing and welcoming. The staff was helpful and accommodating. We got in late from a full day in Rome and they were able to squeeze my husband and I in for massage treatments and dinner. Lovely place, nice and quiet.
