Lovely place to stay that has a certain charm all of its own despite its somewhat dated look.. We had a super two night stay here with a great and super clean room, good breakfast and within a few meters of the main square in Urbino which was super convenient. I would recommend a room at the back of the building which has some great views and are quieter.
Recommended and great value for money. Look forward to my next visit

In general I had a great stay at this hotel. It has every essential commodity and more for its category. Very good AC in camera and enough space in both the room and the bathroom. Breakfast had everything you need to start your day full of energy and ready to go.

the breakfast buffet was served at the room instead of the dining hall.
the initial room we got could not support dining at the room.
The staff upgraded the room free of charge and served fabulous breakfast to the room.
Staff was nice, helpful and welcoming throughout our visit

This hotel is well-located for visiting Urbino, we were here for three nights. Everywhere in Urbino is on a slope so be prepared for this. Our room had plenty of room in the main space with a smallish bathroom. It was very quiet which was wonderful.

a beautiful apartment in a perfect location right in the middle of the historic city
Urbino is a beautiful medieval town. Quite hilly so bring decent shoes. The ducal palace and art gallery is a must see but wandering around and sitting in a cafe looking out over views is just as atmospheric. It’s quite quiet and not silly prices. Local Passerina wine is a new favorite

The city is a jewel!
The city is a jewel! In addition to walking around and through the city, we took in the Museum at the Palazzo Ducale. We grabbed coffees or spritzes in sunny spots overlooking the surrounding hills. We could have enjoyed a 2-3 day stay...

Urbino is not a big place.
Urbino is not a big place. A dedicated person can walk it in a serious day. But if you want to do museums and shopping, really do the place, you should allow three days. The schedules of the colleges affect your experience. It is a different place when students are there, very lively, maybe too lively. It is touristy when the students are not there, but most tourists are Italian. If you like meat, Urbino has it. The food in general is outstanding. It is not a great place for people with mobility issues. Very hilly, uneven paving stones. It is very, very clean. You won't sleep late. The loudest bells ever made by human hands ring at 8 and again at 8:15, and then sometimes yet again. You'll get up. But morning there is so lovely that you don't want to miszs it anyway.

Urbino is a UNESCO's world heritage site, a university town and birthplace of many important fugures, yet overlooked and unknown amoung international tourists. After years of longing, I finally had a chance to visit this mesmerising place where Raffaello, my most favourite painter, was born.

Wonderful small hotel with a beautiful view. The owner Guiseppe and his family are wonderful people and made our stay (3 days) remarkable. Breakfast is outstanding as well as the price, but also the hotel, the garden with jacuzzi (with a breathtaking view), the trust bar and many more. The rooms were spacious and the bathrooms, too. Also here: all you need is available. Towels for the beach? No problem, Guiseppe had us covered. Also with hints which restaurants to go for. We we were just blown away. And will come back.
A wonderful hotel just in front of Palazzo Ducale. Comfy, big beds, nice rooms, good breakfasts. And an absolute amazingly friendly staff who guided me with a smile while driving through Urbino to the very very centrum (as my GPS went crazy). Thank you, thank you! I felt very welcomed! Hope to see you again!
The most amazing apartment, truly wonderful. Urbino is such a special little town, the heart of the renaissance, to stay in such a delightful palazzo was a pleasure.
Excellent beds, excellent everything apart from the non-functioning washing machine.
