Location near the beach. Clean nice room with a small bathroom and balcony. Fridge in room. Bed comfortable. But the best was the man at check in. He was attentive and helpful and makes a great Aperol spritz to boot. Breakfast was also included and very good.

B&B Nonna Luisa, is located in a nice suburban neighborhood, below the city center-where a staircase can take you up to an approach to the city center(details later).
Elisa our hostess has a good command of English and loves to converse with her guests.
She is one of the very few hosts we have encountered, who actually lives at the B&B she runs.
Elisa is extremely knowledgeable of the surrounding area, cities within striking distance and popular destinations throughout Italy.
We enjoyed the abundant, traditional, sweet Italian style breakfast, plus yogurt.
Our room was well proportioned, clean, with a comfortable bed. Elisa equipped us with an extra luggage stand to complete our needs.
We felt like were staying with real Italian family!
Back to the directions to and from town: A few steps from her house, Luisa will show you how to get to the city center, by way of a staircase leading up to a road (nice shortcut). First before you proceed up the hill, note white stripes of the crosswalk on the street. Follow road to the top of hill. See the tower ahead and take crosswalk, (pass tower on your left) go left under the arch into the city center.
On the way back, pass tower on your right, take crosswalk. Almost in front of you will be Namo Rostobottega (restaurant), take the second street on your left of Namo (not the one that goes down the hill next to Namo.) OK good, now the street’s name back to B&B is Via della Gaballetta, follow this until you notice green, metal fencing along the street on the right, staircase is coming up at the crosswalk marked on the road, turn right onto staircase, descend follow gravel path and hang a right, then you should find the B&B.

Beautiful laid back walled city on the crest of a high hill with spectacular views westward over the Mediterranean, and a few blocks away one can view a spectacular panorama of the great valleys to the east. A much smaller but older city than Rome; but a much more relaxed option to the hustle and bustle, one hour to the south.

We really enjoyed our room at this quaint bed and breakfast
The whole bnb was smaller than we expected however it did take away from the pleasure and comfort. We enjoyed a front room which looked out over the roof tops of Tarquinius and towards the sea. Great sunset view . Facilities were excellent and breakfast very nice. Lovely girl serving us . Great location to explore Tarquinia . Will definitely stay again .

Tarquinia was quaint with cobblestone streets. Little boutiques line the streets along with numerous eateries. We ate dinner at Arcadia, a seafood restaurant; and the food was absolutely delicious. Also, there were gelateria gambella, ice cream shop.

Tarquinia is a nice little city with lots of great food options and a historic center that is fun to explore. There are lots of parking spaces all over the town and parking is very cheap. It is easy to get around with a car or on foot, and the people are very friendly as well. Lots of little shops and boutiques. Mostly locals, not that many tourists.

Charming, quiet a perfect place to stay to visit the archeological sites and the villages of Tuscia. Plenty of nice open air estaurants.
Do not miss the museum, a great exhibition well displayed and well explained.
Our stay in Villa Hotel Valle del Marta exceeded our expectations. The property itself is just beyond beautiful. The grounds are immaculate and the pool is just divine. The room was very spacious with high ceilings, the bed was super comfortable with the finest cotton linens and great pillows. We loved this place. The breakfast was very fresh with a variety of choices. The staff was super accommodating and ver professional. The owner makes his own award winning brandy on site and it’s so delicious. My husband and I loved this place.
What I liked best was the feeling I got of being part of a family - the atmosphere was relaxed, rural and totally Italian. The agritutrismo is part of a working farm and we enjoyed some of its produce. The restaurant on site is excellent, both in terms of price and the quality of the food and wine. Its situation is only a five minute drive from the town of Tarquinia and only slightly further to the coast at Lido di Tarquinia. We couldn't have been happier or more relaxed. Doriana was absolutely fantastic.
We’ve made a long trip across Italy since last weeks. Agroturismo Lupo Cerinno wins everything. The place, serrounded area, home made dishes, lovely and very helpfully Host. design of the place is just something you could always dream about when you plan to vist Italy. Easy to find, close to Tarquinia and sea coast. We felt just amazing. For sure we’ll come back to stay for longer time!
The staff were very accommodating.
The rooms themselves seemed to be re-done recently, however the bathrooms were still quite old.
We were there off-season and so the area was completely dead. The restaurant wasn’t open. So we went into the town of Tarquinia for dinner, which was a really nice experience. overall, this day was just okay.
Beautifully appointed, spacious and sparkling clean apartment steps away from historic Tarquinia. We enjoyed the lovely private balcony throughout the day and evening. Simone and Dino were responsive, warm, and so very welcoming as hosts. The location allowed easy access to Rome by train and day trips by car to local sites.
I basically booked the hotel last minute. All the hotels in the area were booked as it was a holiday period around Nov 1st.
This was available and at a very good price.
I think the value for money is good and it is worth visiting if you are just passing by on the way to Rome.
It was heaven. I loved everything about the hotel and property. The owners and employees were kind and accommodating. The breakfast was excellent. The grounds and pool are beautiful. I did not want to leave and hope to return someday!
A great stopover by the sea on a journey from the south to the north of Italy. Lovely gardens, a spacious room with a balcony and very welcome air conditioning. Friendly and helpful staff. A tasty seafood dinner and enormous portions.
Everything location, facilities, breakfast. This marvellous b+b is built into the ancient town walls of Tarquinia, clean and comfy so much thought gone into the stay our host was friendly and helpful. Could not fault.
Everything. Best coffee in Italy so far. Staff customer service highest level, they were very accommodating. Room was exceptionally comfortable and clean. Breakfast amazing variety.
WOW!! It's like a museum in a holiday home! The hosts were absolutely fantastic! What a great place to stay for our last night in Italy, with easy access to Rome airport. Thank you!
It was an excellent hotel with great facilities. We only stayed one night but we really enjoyed our stay there. we ate at the Horta Grill which was delicious.
