Incredible stay! The staff made us feel welcomed and like family, they went above and beyond to cater to our every need. The facilities were impeccable and the thermal pools took away all our stress. The food was fresh, delicious and healthy. The pizza was actually the best we've had in Sicily, we have been travelling around the island so this is a big claim to make! The only problem is we didn't want to leave the accommodation to explore the surrounding area! Internet was great and we were able to get work done.

I was staying down by the port which was nice - cafes and quite busy at night but not noisy. It was quite a walk up to the main area where most of the restaurants and the shops were - especially in the heat. Parking wasn't an issue.

Sciacca is such a hidden gem of a place.

Sciacca is such a hidden gem of a place. So much to do and see in Sciacca, from the Porto area, where the fishermen bring in their catch of the day and the old apartments and houses in that old, beautiful area of town, to the Centro area of Sciacca, with the beautiful old churches, streets and walled city. The food is of course based around the fresh seafood, that is caught daily. I love everything about Sciacca.

If you like maritime culture and a small unpretentious town but with excellent seafood restaurants, Sciacca might be for you. It has a big fishing port, very colourful. Up the hill is the main town, classy and attractive and without a lot of tourist trinket shops and other tourist eyesores. It would probably be mellow in summer with everyone out in the cafes all evening. The beaches are outside the town about 15 min. We did an early spring tour of Sicily's southwest coast looking for possible August holiday places for the future. I liked Sciacca.

Sciacca is a perfect place to explore south western Sicily.

Sciacca is a perfect place to explore south western Sicily. The town is easily explored in a half day and has nice stores and restaurants. Definitely prettier and less up and down than Agrigento. It is a little over an hour from the Palermo Airport by car and you can explore the ancient temple of Segesta on the way and only have an hour drive to Agrigento and the many picturesque and historic attractions on the way there. Also Corleone and Piana degli Albanesi are on the way to Palermo for those who are interested in some of the Mafia history.

It is a nice Sicilian town full of History and monuments.

It is a nice Sicilian town full of History and monuments. The city itself is a little gem as you can still see buildings that were built a long time ago still there and in use. Food and restaurants are good too as well as shops and other amenities. The only "black spot" is the fact that if you want to go to the beach you must have a car. In the evening you can enjoy a promenade in the piazza or, if scheduled, watch gigs of live music on the streets.

New hotel on harbor front, with large bedroom & bathroom, fluffy towels & excellent bed linens. We were just overnighting, so chose the standard room, only drawback no windows. The more expensive rooms have a balcony & harbor view. An elevator rides to 5th floor entrance in town, after that there are 4 flights of steps to reach center. We did not have breakfast, just went to Charlie's Bar next door for sandwich & cappuccino. We had seafood dinner in harbor a restaurant..unfortunately not great.

Great location right in centre of old town. Fantastic facilities - included breakfast is on the roof terrace which was amazing - really 10/10 delicious 'colazione' - the roof terrace looks out over the town to the sea. Antonella was so helpful with everything - really friendly and would answer any questions about the town etc. Beautiful decorations around the place, really clean. Its kind of a boutique hotel. There is a kitchen area with tables and seats. Shower and Aircon were perfect

The Property is as described and has got all the essential things for the stay. B&B il Campanile is very central and close to the city centre. All the best restaurants and tourist attraction are around the property. Peppe, the owner is amazing. Super friendly and he is very willing to help you for whatever is your need. He offered us a secure car park for free. We stay on night but we hope to be back soon for more days to enjoy Sciacca even more. Ps the property is very clean.

The house is nice. Our room had a nice balcony to a lemon tree garden. There was room service. Breakfast was diverse and good, including capuccino (or other hot beverage), fruit juice, cornetos with different fillings and sandwiches.it's not identical every day. Location is great, but if you do not like steps (don't go to Sciacca or Agrigento), you need to take a greater turn I think. Fulvio is very concerned about your wellbeing and can give you tips on car rental.

The host brewed my cappuccino & added steamed milk. Served it with a smile on her face & on the foamed milk. Assortment of pastries, cold cuts, juice, water, cereal, yogurt, rolls… The security of having the host on site (24/7). Convenient location, off a Main Street. The room was cozy. The host couldn’t get me a taxi to the bus terminal. She drove me herself. The host is lovely, caring & compassionate about her guests & Sciacca.

The location is perfect if you want peace and quiet in a beautiful setting. The beach is only 15 minutes drive so for us the ideal spot. The house is great with lots of space. You can quickly drive to the port to buy fresh seafood and prepare it in the house. The surrounding area gives tranquility. Desiree from Wonderful Italy gives top notch service so a big thank you. She really did everything to make us feel welcome.

Wonderful recently renovated family hotel, perfect location for a visit to Sciacca. Host Raffaele greeted us with complimentary upgrade to a beautiful room with rooftop terrace overlooking the old town. He makes an excellent cappuccino and delicious breakfast, and also a perfect afternoon spritz. Also a really good neighborhood pizza place right across the street. Sciacca is a lovely lively town situated on a hill on the coast. The hotel was clean, comfortable and well equipped, staff was super friendly and very attentive. Breakfast offered a wide selection of fruits, cakes and others. Parking was possible next to the hotel. To reach the city centre, we had to climb some 200 stairs which was a good exercise before the dinner with a nice sea view all the way.

Every day at the hotel a lavish breakfast is served in the buffet style featuring delicious pastries, fresh fruit, a range of cool drinks and charcuterie. Although the room overlooked a busy street in the bustling centre of Sciacca it was near silent if desired. The room itself was stylish and very comfortable. 10/10 would return.
