The location directly at the lake is amazing..the rooms are really stylish, the breakfast is great. You have to try the restaurant! Massimo and all the employees were really friendly and we enjoyed the service. We would definetly come back!

Sauris di Sopra is absolutley beautiful! It’s peaceful and serene with gorgeous views of the mountains and plenty of hiking. There’s now a zip line but we didn’t have the courage to try, maybe next time! A very charming village with everything needed for a lovely experience and lots of hidden treasures. Everyone we met in the village was very warm and friendly. A beautiful place to visit!

The tranquility was an experience. Living with absence of noise is these days a unique experience. The place has an interesting history, the scenery is wonderful...The Hotel in which we stayed was great - The Chalet also offers lovely dinners.

Sauris is a perfect place if you want to stay on moutains...
Sauris is a perfect place if you want to stay on moutains without too many tourists. There are very beautiful trekkings around it with different levels of difficulty. The scenary is wonderful. From this year it is possible also to canoe on Sauris's lake. There is a nice wellness center with swimming pool, sauna etc. The food is wonderful. I suggest to eat at least one time the Sauris's ham or speck. It is possible to visit the ham factory and the Rural Life Museum
The receptionists are kind, friendly, and were always helpful before and during our stay. At the time of arrival, they guided us about activities that we can do during our stay. Hiking around Lago di Sauris was amazing. Very good pizzeria next to the reception. Also there is a spa halfway between Sauris di Sotto and Sauris di Sopra, the guests receive a discount from the entrance fee.
The hotel is in a beautiful location on a hill overlooking the lake. The character of the surroundings is rather rural. The hotel offers a very cosy atmosphere, a nice bar and a very well run restaurant which offers a really high standard at a reasonable price.
Everything was wonderful from the awe-inspiring views (I can't stop staring at the pics we took just from out balcony), to the coziness of the hotel, the delicious restaurant, to the lovely staff! We will definitely be coming back and bringing friends.
