If you are afraid to go here because of the price, don't be. We we're able to visit all the perfect beaches and dinner out everyday and didn't pay a fortune. Just avoid the clubes and places near the Marina.

Feels like a fake town built for rich people to park their yachts and Bentleys in, then go shopping for label goods. No cool bars, boutiques, or lively places. Just endless brand stores and restaurants with white tablecloth service. If you're looking for real Sardinia, look elsewhere.

Porto Cervo was very beautiful. we went there end of April and it was a bit too quiet, not all restaurants, clubs etc were open. however we had the beautiful beaches to ourselves and you can still find other things to do ( wine tasting in the vicinity, rent a boat, horse riding etc.

Porto Cervo is the heart of the Costa Smeralda.
Porto Cervo is the heart of the Costa Smeralda. While the jet setter heydays of the 60's to 80's is long past, the town retains its charm with beautiful homes and shops. A visit to the Costa Smeralda in the off season, like we did in September, avoids the mass tourists and overly expensive hotels and restaurants. The beaches are magnificent and the entire area is a feast for the eyes. There is lots to do, scuba diving at Orso Diving in Poltu Quatu, or chartering a boar at Poltu Quatu Charter. A drive to Palau and the ferry to La Magdalena shows you even more of the splendour of this utterly beautiful part of Sardinia. But make no mistake, Sardinia has far, far more to offer than the Costa Smeralda. But it's a great place to begin to discover the magical island that is Sardinia. I've been coming here for almost 40 years and relish every opportunity to enjoy its sunshine and beaches.

Very expensive purpose built resort which was very quiet out of season. Several restaurants/bars/shops were closed but we were aware of this when we booked.
Very pretty setting and a great base for exploring the Costa Smerelda.
The place is very beautiful. Located at walking distance from the port and main attractions in porto cervo! We had a car and there was a free parking right next to the hotel.
The host is a wonderful person. She was extremely nice and helpful.
The room is big enough for two. We had a balcony as well for those who like to have a relaxing coffee in the morning. The property is super clean, very comfortable with a beautiful design.
I totally recommend!!!!
… roof top jacuzzi on Costa Smeralda with a fantastic scenic sunset view on La Maddalena 😁 However, it’s a nice starting point to discover Costa Smeralda by car and „enjoy“ Porto Cervo, too 😁 Few nice restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance. It was our last stay and ninth accommodation during our four week round the island trip, hence - without doubt a recommendation! Try to get a room with balcony and front view.
Stefano was amazing. The location is in the heart of Puerto Cervo, across from the main shopping area and close to all the local beaches. Mini supermarket across the street was very convenient. Apartment is clean, beds were comfortable and we like the mini kitchenette! Look forward to returning to this apartment should we plan a trip back to Sardinia's beautiful emerald coast.
The location and views are incredible, cannot be beat if you're looking to stay Porto Cervo. The apartment itself is a nice size with a beautiful patio to enjoy the sunset overlooking the Mega Yachts.
The apartment is very close to great restaurants, bars and clubs. Very high end area that's definitely worth enjoying a night out.
Villa location is perfect for the discovery of Porto Cervo and Costa Esmeralda best beaches. The accommodation was quiet and air conditioning functioned perfectly. The host lady carefully served breakfast at desired hour in the garden with the view over the sea. There were good advices regarding restaurants etc.
Stunning place to stay. My wife and I went for our honeymoon and it was genuinely the best hotel we’ve ever stayed in. Room was spacious and comfortable with beautiful private terrace. Infinity pool is spectacular and hottub is perfect for relaxation. Could not recommend highly enough!
Great location right in the middle of Costa Smeralda, not far from Porto Cervo. Great facilities including the pool. Got a room upgrade and complimentary access to their beach (which you otherwise have to pay for a bed)by the helpful receptionists.
Grand Hotel Poltu Quatu offered a unique stay and experience thanks to its friendly and always helpful staff, clean and inviting facilities, bars and outdoor area. We can definitely recommend it to everyone seeking to relax.
We came on a dinner bed and breakfast deal, food was great, service by the Maitre D’ and his team was the best we received in all of Sardinia- so attentive and quick.
Great location near the most beautiful beaches of the Costa Smeralda. The room was well equipped with kitchen utensils, the complex has nice pools and is very clean.
The attentiveness and teamwork the staff had to our questions. The water view from the hotel room terrace was beautiful. And the location was very good.
