I loved the Leaning Tower of Pisa. The complex it sits in has a ticket office, museums, and plenty of walking spaces. You can do a 3km rampart walk. The food in Pisa is divine with plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from. Local food delicacy includes boar and rabbit cooked to ancient Tuscany recipes. Pisa is compact . It has 2 railway stations. The main railway stations offer connections to Rome, Milan but also shorter trips to Siena, Lucca , and the coastal seaside of Livorna.
The airport is only 7km from the centre of Pisa and a train link is available.
Pisa has good bespoke shops and leather bags, shoes and other leather accessories are worth buying.

We had 2 nights in Pisa and it would have been easy to do another night. All the blogs we read said once you’ve done the square of miracles there’s nothing else to do !
This wasn’t the case for us at all and I personally think Pisa is very underrated.
We found the best coffee shop that served perfect cappuccinos called Filter coffee Lab, wonderful restaurants ,nice parks to walk through ,and enjoyed strolling on corso Italia
Visiting the square of miracles at night when the crowds had disappeared was truly wonderful ,as was walking along the river with its grand buildings lining either side.
All in all a great place to visit for a couple of days.

The Pisa Piazza where the Bastile and the leaning tower are...
The Pisa Piazza where the Bastile and the leaning tower are located is charming. Does get busy during the summer months. Recommend that you use the QR code on the signs around the Square to book a time for the entrance to the tower with the entrance to the Cathedral, or do this online prior to arrival in central Pisa.
Suggest you walk the wall around the Piazza, great views…

I liked Pisa better than Florence.
I liked Pisa better than Florence. Unfortunately Florence was full of tourists at this time of year which detracted from the experience. Pisa was chilled and you could organise trips by bus or train from the main station. We really enjoyed our stay in Italy. Great people great food great experience.

The Hotel Verdi was just okay except no AC.
The Hotel Verdi was just okay except no AC. For my wife n I, that’s a big problem. However, it was safe close to the Pisa tower but a bit too far from the train station only when you’re carrying luggage. It’s a safe area with a courthouse across the street so you see police coming into the hotel’s lobby cafe for an expresso
Loved loved loved it !
Location : short taxi or walk from Pisa Centrale Station. Close to restaurants. overlooking Arno. 12 Min walk to Leaning Tower.
Rooms: 104 huge. Old .balcony overlooking Arno.
It like staying in a museum! really interesting, oldest hotel in Italy ? . loads of famous people stayed, one of our party was in the Charles Dickens room !
Staff: REALLY Helpful!
Breakfast: Good. Yogurt, flakes,Bread, cheese fruit, juices. Tea, coffee ,cake, croissant.
Next time I visit Pisa definitely would stay again and be part of history.
It was perfect location. Very close to a university and what's more important university I had to go to. I was so happy to get a room with a view on Piazza del Duomo and slightly could see the Leaning Tower. My breakfast was the best I had since I arrived to Italy. The room was cozy and had a fast connection to internet which is a life savior. Overall the staff is very professional and their service was on a scale 10 out of 10. I was glad to choose Roma Hotel and would recommend it to everyone.
The best stay we had in Italy. We spent a few nights in Rome, 3 in Bologna, 1 in Florence and 1 here in Pisa. We wish we booked this for at least 2 nights instead, as it was truly stunning. The bathroom in particular is a joy. It's a little pricey, but worth every penny; it's more of a 5 star stay. The leaning tower is a 20 minute walk away, so not completely central, but the walk is lovely. The person I've dealt with via whatsapp couldn't have been any nicer. Absolutely brilliant. 10/10
The hotel made our five night stay in Pisa very enjoyable. It is located two minutes walk from the station which is perfect for arriving from the airport and for train trips to other cities. It’s a twenty minute walk through the city centre to the tower and cathedral.
Our room was comfortable with a huge bed. The decor is a charming step back in time which adds to the experience.
Breakfast is varied and plentiful.
The manager and his staff are always smiling, helpful and efficient.
We arrived at 9am after an early flight expecting to leave our luggage for the day but our room was ready for us to use which was a nice surprise. The breakfast was great, probably one of the best we’ve had in a hotel and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The hotel taxi shuttle service to the airport was faultless and a bargain at €5 per person, much better than the Pisa Mover. Room was comfortable and spacious with air con and free water in the fridge. The location is perfect!
The location was excellent. So close to central Pisa bad attractions. Very close to airport and Pisa Central Train Station. very easy to visit other location in Italy via train (Florence and Cinque Terre). Stefano, the host, was great. He met us at arrival showed us around the apartment explained everything. He offered a variety of food and snacks so we could enjoy breakfast before heading out for the day. Place was clean and spacious for 6 of us. beds were ver comfortable.
The team was very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. They provided good advice about how to get from the airport to the hotel in the quickest and cheapest way which is by taxi.
Vito allowed us to leave our luggage after check out to allow us to explore for a few hours which was a great help.
The whole property was very comfortable and we would love to stay here again if we came back to Pisa.
very convenient for railway station, airport and city centre. the room was large and very clean and comfortable. We only stayed one night and it was perfect for us as we arrived by train and left the next day from the airport. very helpful staff organised an early morning taxi for us and we were at the airport in ten minutes. would definitely recommend this hotel for a short stay in Pisa.
Wow wow wow. The location of this hotel is just unbeatable. You cannot be any closer to the Leaning Tower if you tried. Our room had an outdoor terrace that overlooked the cities monuments and it really made our trip. The rooms are super comfortable and clean. The staff are friendly and engaging, especially Paolo. We would definitely recommend staying here in Pisa!
Very clean and newly renovated, amazing value for money! The breakfast was served to your room which I haven’t experienced at a hotel before, but I really liked it! More hotels should offer that! Also, both the center train station and Pisa airport are a 10 min walk from the hotel. The leaning tower of Pisa is about a 35 min walk away.
The historic building was great, Ivanka was an extremely welcoming and friendly host, and the room was perfect. We’ve been in Italy a few weeks now and this was by far the most comfortable bed we’ve had. We both slept great and the location was perfect to see the tower and explore Pisa.
Conveniently located near the train station (like 2 min away) it might seem a little bit far from Pisa main attractions (20 min walking distance).
Room was a little outdated, however, the best breakfast I have had in Italy was in this hotel. Best value for money.
Location is great, 5 min walking to the train station. Also walkable to the airport and tower of Pisa. It’s quite quiet too.
Bathroom is spacious.and airy which is great.
We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel. So can’t comment on that.
A location of the hotel is really great. It is near airport (can be accessed by foot) and also the bus station to Pisa Centrale is just in front of the hotel. Staff was really pleasant and nice. A room was very clean and tidy.
