Location was great. Lots of nice places to eat on the lake. The lake is beautiful with lovely walks around its shores. Lots of activities to be utilised if we had been there longer. Family friendly.

Mergozzo is a beautiful old town on the edge of Lake Mergozzo. There are many amazing places to stay and have food and the most delicious ice cream is sold on the town square. There are activities on the lake such as paddle boarding, canoeing and peddle boats and you can hike several different paths from the town. It is in close proximity to Lake Maggiore which offers boat trips to its islands and has many restaurants overlooking the lake. The views are stunning.

Its a very peaceful place, close enough to the other lakes. The restaurants were all dog friendly and the service and quality was brilliant. The old town has got cobbled streets and some very old buildings.

We were there for a wedding so only booked a few days but I now wish we could have stayed longer to really explore the area. Mergozzo is much quieter and relaxed than Stresa and some of the other towns nearby which were too crowded and touristy for me.
It's a beautiful location with several decent bars and restaurants to choose from and lots of things to do nearby.
Ca Luigia is a renovated apartment with a lot of attention to details, here the quality is very very high. The kitchen is very well furnished and beds are very comfortable. Everything is modern and perfect for customers need. The location is in a nice historic walkway to Mergozzo , Montorfano, through the forest along the lake. The contact with the agency was helpful and friendly. The surrounding places could be reached quickly and easily. Very good position in a very beautiful apartment!
Perfect holiday, relaxing and peaceful
Gabriella our host was absolutely wonderful -- very friendly, extremely helpful, and enthusiastic. The little cabin was nicely decorated and comfortable, set away in the middle of a camellia farm. We could eat our breakfast (coffee, yogurt, fruit juice, and fruit) sitting surrounded by nature that we had to ourselves. There is a good restaurant a short walk away in Bracchio. For the more adventurous Mergozzo and its lake is only 15 easy minutes on foot.
The room, including the bathroom, was spacious and tastefully decorated. We felt welcome in this hotel and the staff was very friendly and helpful. It was relaxing to have a meal at the restaurant downstairs, especially the croissants at breakfast, while staring at the beautiful view of the lake and mountain. At the end of a long day, it was also nice to just sit at the balcony while enjoying the view.
As the Hotel is not directly on Lake Maggiore, but a little way out, I was pleasantly surprised by its location overlooking Lake Mergozzo and also the quality and staff.
I thought that the restaurant was a little expensive, but doubtless that would be more on Maggiore itself - however, the quality of the food was SUPERB !, the best meal I have had for several years - definitely worth a visit.

Mergozzo is a gem of a place, and this traditional house has you literally 1 minute from the lake shore cafes and bars, yet is set back so generally quiet. Kitchen is really well equipped but the local eateries are so good we didn't use the kitchen much.
The astounding location up the hill with the best views on Lago Maggiore and the other 6 ones, the wonderful quality classic interior, the beautiful hikes around Monte Faiè and the very friendly and hospitable hosts - Patrizia e Gigi, thank you so much!
Walking distance to Mergozzo, beside the lake, beautiful scenery, the pool, lovely to have a terrace to enjoy your breakfast on. Very modern and well kept. The flowers around the property were stunning! Lovely and quiet while we were there.
The apartment was very nice and new with new appliances and furnishings. Tiziana and her family were very friendly and looked after any requests. The apartment is in the nice small town of a Mergozzo and only steps from the beautiful lake.

The view is superb. I took a room on the second floor with a balcony and enjoyed the view all the day. The restaurant in the hotel is quite nice with a lot of great food and alcohol options. The stuff is super nice.
The region is amazing, but mergozzo and this little farm hidden in the outskirts of the village was an amazing surprise.
