It was one night stay in May. It is well organized place with quite small apartments. Our room for three was just beds, but it was ok to sleep over. There was refrigerator and TV set in the room. Nice and quite big bathroom with all equipment.

We attend a wedding while here for a week. We did the cable cars which were amazing and I would recommend if you wake up and it’s sunny do it that day. There’s spectacular views from up there , you can also eat & drink up there or take your own picnic and enjoy the paragliders jumping off. Catch the water taxis to different places for the day. Lot& lots & lots of places to eat & drink fabulous food.

So beautiful place!
So beautiful place! It was a quite long way with a full bus, but it was worth it in the end because Malcesine has really beautiful scenery. I went swiming in the lake and climbed mountains. Other towns were easy to visit with the ferry. I visit Riva del Garda on a day trip.

Went to malcesine on 2 occasions during our stay in Italy. Stayed at Hotel Internationale and then came on ferry to explore the castle. Town is busy with tourists but plenty of reasonably priced restaurants with amazing views. Narrow cobbled streets. Castle definitely worth going to and to climb steep steps to top gives an amazing panoramic view of lake and mountains. Likewise the cable car to the top of Monte Baldo. Amazing views.

An amazing trip. Great location with fantastic views. Cable car trip I would highly recommend. The town is beautiful. Lots of amazing places to eat. Beautiful views. Wear good shoes or trainers as the streets are cobbled in the town. Lots of hills to climb so be prepared for that. People are welcoming and friendly. Attended a friends wedding and this was a perfect and beautiful location. Definitely returning.
Everything. Our room was on the first floor and we had a lovely view of the lake and the garden. The room was spacious and comfortable. And we had a balcony!
The hotel is simple but very well located in front of the lake and close to beaches to swimm and to places to rent equipment to do water sports. It has a lovely garden, the breakfast is delicious, and the staff is lovely! In their adjacent restaurant they have delicious pizza and pasta, so we eat there every evening. We highly recommend this place! (Malcesine is 5 minutes drive away).
We have only good things to say about our stay at Casa Nicola. The apartment was clean, well furnished and comfortable. Lorena was a welcoming host offering lots of useful information about Malcesine. The apartment has safe private parking and it is a short 10 minute walk into the centre of town. Our apartment had a fantastic view of Lake Garda from both the living area and bedroom. A small balcony was a lovely place to catch the afternoon/evening sun.
We would definitely recommend Casa Nicola and Malcesine as a base to explore the lake.
Breakfast could have been more varied.
The location was rather awkward to find (Google Maps give the wrong access road to the property) and very steep both for the car and on foot. There were a couple of restaurants in walking distance, but really the answer is to take the bus into Malcesine.
The location was also magnificent in having a commanding view over the Lake. This more than made up for the access 'difficulties'.
Our host Andrea was very helpful with info on buses, walks etc.
Great hotel, with excellent location in a very nice little town, 5 minutes walk from the lake. Reception gave great tips for tours and restaurants. The room was well maintained, quiet and very spacious, with a beautiful view, facing the Castello Scaligero. We didn't use the jacuzzi because it was cold, but it is in a very beautiful garden. The hotel offered free bike rental, a great way to explore Malcesine. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff was very attentive.
The staff at the hotel were so helpful and friendly, particulary the restaurant staff. We wanted to specifically thank Valentina from reception for being so kind and helpful- nothing was too much, even when we asked lots of questions! The spa areas and the views are stunning. It was just the quiet paradise we needed, nestled between the mountains and surrounded by trees and nature. The town of Malcesine is beautiful too and has lots of lovely restaurants and bars.
What can I say about this charming family run hotel absolutely stunning !! would highly recommend. 11 of us stayed immaculate rooms, stunning views over the lake, beautiful pool would change nothing and so reasonably priced a five minute walk into the town. The staff make this hotel they cannot do enough for you we shall be back next year thank you for a wonderful stay.
We loved our stay at la pergola, it situated nicely just a stroll away from the old city centre of malcesine and lake garda. The roof terrace has an absolutely stunning view on to the castle and the lake. The apartment was very clean and the host more than helpful. Would definitely recommend staying there.
It is very close to the lake - just a few meters from the water so that you can enjoy it more often than most other hotels. Great view on the lake. No roads between the hotel and the lake.
