It was our second time staying at La Riva and we will stay again. We love this homey little hotel. Location and ocean view are both excellent. It’s very comfortable and all of the staff were so nice!

There’s not much to it really, I only stayed there because I thought it would be a cheaper option than staying in Taormina but I’m not so sure about it. I would recommend staying in Taormina if that’s what you actually went to this area to do. But in general, this area (Taormina and Giardini Naxos) is super expensive and touristic, just visit quickly. Also, parking is €15/day.

The place is nice, is a good option to mix Taormina with another place. The only bad thing are the buses, they do not pass at the time that you are expecting, sometimes it takes more time, so if you are having a flash trip, this can be an issue.

Good place for spending the summer holiday, tourist village with clean sea water, enough restaurants and small shops, but not very noisy and busy. On the other side, there is nothing particular to see, for more interesting things there is the town Taormina nearby.

Giardini Naxos has an easy going vibe there are many local-restaurants and bars serving good quality food and drinks and good value. It is easy to reach Taormina for sightseeing and there are many trips available to book. My daughters went on a boat trip and did snorkelling, they were amazed that the water was so clean and clear and they saw many fish. The views of Etna are spectacular.

Our favorite vacation spot with great beaches and lots to see and do in the area. Wonderful food, especially if you venture away from some of the more touristy options. People are welcoming and friendly, and more often than not you can find someone who speaks English or at least is very willing to do their best to understand.
Lido La Romantica is our favourite beach, and they also have an excellent restaurant, a nice bar, and a very welcoming staff.
If you are interested in scuba diving I can recommend Sea Spirit Diving. Very professional staff and our mixed group of both young divers having their first experience and divers with extensive experience came back with smiles on their faces!
Well-situated, specious 2 bedroom apartment, 2 minutes walk to the shore. Comfy beds. Really good place to discover Taormina and Giardini Naxos. Owner is very kind and friendy, easy to discuss everything in english. We had a great time there. If everyone gonna travel to this wonderfull part of Sicily, we definitely recommend this place. We were here to dive, and every morning it was easy to get to the port.
Small family hotel with very nice hosts. Peace and quiet. Amazing view of Taormina from the room with balcony. Much wider variety of food for breakfast than you would expect in Italy/of course this is Sicily and not Italy as the islanders like to say it/. The hotel is spotlessly clean. The lobby, restaurant, corridors seem to have been freshly redecorated in a lovely pale blue.
The best hotel I have ever been. Very good standard, clean, and tasty breakfast for very good price. Owner and staff are very nice people. It's near to the beach and restaurants and 20minutes to Taormina.
I highly recommend this Hotel Costa Azzur.
