Nina house, hotel in Crema

Located in Crema and only 35 km from Leolandia, Nina house provides accommodation with inner courtyard views, free WiFi and free private parking.

I guess I was the luckiest to be the first one to stay at this apartment. And it was all worthy. I recently had the pleasure of staying at this impeccably designed property, which exceeded my expectations. The accommodation struck a perfect balance between sleek modernity and spacious comfort. Each room was bathed in natural light, accentuating the clean lines and sophisticated simplicity of the furnishings. The wooden flooring added a touch of warmth, creating an inviting atmosphere that felt both upscale and relaxing. The kitchen was a highlight, equipped with everything needed to prepare a gourmet meal, and the open-plan layout made it easy to entertain. The island was perfect to be used as a dining area was set up thoughtfully, allowing for cozy meals or morning coffee with ease. It was the best to be used also as a working space, with a cool plugs station Ugo was proud of 😃 and it proved to be super useful for me. As for the bathrooms, they were nothing short of luxurious, with modern fittings and spotless surfaces that reflected the overall high standards of cleanliness and design seen throughout the property. The location was just perfect. You will literally find everything you need just around the corner. Supermarkets, bars restaurants, bus stops and in a small lovely town. Last but not least, Ugo, the host was the representation of the gentle, caring and funny Italian, who was willing to go out of his way to provide help. On the funny note, one of the rare Juve fans that are fair and reasonable (remark of an Inter fan). This place is a true gem for anyone seeking a comfortable, stylish, shinning clean and a lovely stay for short and longer term periods.

Crema is a picturesque small town with an enchanting pedestrian street that has lots of boutiques on both sides and a wonderful cathedral (Duomo) in the central square. There are beautiful gates at each end of the pedestrian street, Porta Ombriano and Garibaldi. Lots of wonderful palaces (we saw at least 15) and churches with marvelous paintings. Santa Maria della Croce is a fascinating santuario. Also, the river Serio flows along the town and there is a hotel (Park Residence) close to its bank. Peaceful atmosphere, many small bars and restaurants in the centre. I would recommend Serafino - a great place for delicious pizza, and the ice cream parlour where they sell more than 50 ice cream flavors, as well as the Bandirali Cake shop in the main street, an exquisite confectioner's with delightful desserts. Last but not least, for film lovers, Crema is the place where the movie Call Me by Your Name was shot, so if you walk in its streets you will discover many of the movie sets. Highly recommended!

Crema is a small lovely city located in northern Italy, around an hour away from Milano. With its frequent trains and busses, it has a good public transport connection, in and around the city. The old city center is charming and a perfect place for strolling around, exploring and relaxing on an afternoon. The tourist office located at the old city square is very helpful with all that you should require.

We were lucky as we arrived on the 2nd Saturday of the month when there was a flea market in the nice park between the railway station and the old town. This flea market also takes place on the last Sunday of each month! Furthermore, there was another festival with free events in the old town. The motorized traffic in the centre of the town is restricted. Thus, it is a pleasure to walk in the streets and squares. Lots of cyclists and lots of people with children in the city. There are also lots of interesting shops (clothes, shoes, books, pharmacies, to name a few) and cafes.

    Overall was a good experience.

Overall was a good experience. Slightly disappointed that some restaurants are closed on Mondays. Unusual for an UK traveller to see shops closing between midday and 5 pm..ish, or restaurants open only after 7 pm.

I was only in Crema for 2 and a half days but that was all it took to fall in love with the town. The sound of people walking down the cobbled streets and the sound of the church bells was so charming. The churches and Venetian influences in architectures are breathtaking. I wish I could have stayed forever, and I will definitely be back for longer next time. Huge shout out to Alberto in the tourism center in Crema!!!

Crema is a beautiful old town, with wonderful architecture.

Crema is a beautiful old town, with wonderful architecture. It has some interesting places to visit, particularly if you are a fan of "Call me by your name". It is also a good base from which to visit Milan. It has plenty of bakeries, ice cream shops and clothes shops! It is a bit more limited for general shopping, although there is a general supermarket within ten minutes walk, and Lidl is 5 minute drive. There are also plenty of fast food places, like McDonald´s and Burger King in the surrounding areas. There is a small shopping centre with a very big supermarket, clothes shops etc. We didn't eat in the restaurants in town as these seemed limited in the options. Although we did find a few lovely Poke Bowl places (so it was great for special dietary needs). There are a couple of pretty park areas to walk, sit, picnic etc. The whole town seems to close down between 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. So if you need food or to hire bikes you have to check the times. The church bells ring constantly. Some every half an hour. Not just a ring, sometimes the hourly/half hourly bells last nearly two minutes. Which is charming the first few times, but at 7 a.m. it isn't so charming for long! Bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper, or were hoping for a lay in!

From the time we checked in till the time we checked out the staff could not have been more helpful! Our rooms with 2 large balconies were excellent, large and bright with fab facilities which were cleaned every day! Breakfast was lovely and plenty of choice! It is in a great location to enjoy Crema, the train and bus station within 10minutes walk to take you to Milan or Cremona! Would highly recommend, hope to return again soon!
