The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, the room was very comfortable and spacious, and the breakfast was amazing. The location is also very close to the station, which is convenient.

The best place to be if you have an early flight to the airport or you are arriving late to Rome CIA and you need to sleep before heading to the city. The bus station going to the airport is close and there is a cafe right away called Nino where you can grab an early Italian Breakfast before heading to the airport.

Great small and quiet town near Rome. The people are friendly and everything is close at hand - nice cafeterias and restaurants, shops and a train station from which you can take a train straight to Roma Termini and it's only 15 minutes ride. Really nice place to stay at.

Ciampino is a small town.
Ciampino is a small town. We couldn't find any area for sightseeing but our aim was Roma and the most important fact that the traffic (the train) was very good and fast. The time was max. 15 minutes from Ciampino to Roma Termini (Roma center).
The airport is close to Ciampino as well (max. 10 minutes) by Airlink bus.
So, Ciampino the best location for those who are seeking an accomodation close to Rome and the airport, and they want to sleep cheap for few days.

It is excellent for a base for Rome via the train and bus service there. There are plenty of good restaurants that are cheaper than the centre of Rome. The supermarket there is very good if you are self-catering. It is quick and easy to get to the airport

Travelers should stay near Roma termini. Everything you you will get near termini. Finding transportation at night time is not available either from Roma to ciampino or ciampino to termini. Only train is available at affordable price with long intervals.
If you want to hassle free trip at Rome please don’t stay ciampino.

Ciampino is kinda isolated from the city.
Ciampino is kinda isolated from the city. The airport has a fast security track so you just need to be in the airport about 40 minutes before the gate open. The public transports when lefting the terminal are just awful, they don´t arrive in time and it can affect your overral experience in Rome. The 720 bus service, linked with roma pass, jumped 4 scheduled times, so if you are planning to take this bus just think in catching another one.
Having stayed before, I returned to a welcoming Christos, the host of Plaza Rooms Ciampino. I always feel like he is available via WhatsApp for any needs and is full of recommendations during your stay.
There are outdoor balconies to chill with free coffee available to get you through the day.
Great location by the airport and only a 15 minute train into Roma, which only cost around €1.50. There is even a Conad, 5 minutes up the road, for any drinks or snacks.
Used as a base for daily trips into Rome (Euro1.50 train journey), as well as easy access to Ciampino airport (20 min walk). Breakfast is laid out the night before, and therefore available at whatever time needed for early flights. Good array of restaurants in local area. Wifi good. Very spacious room & bathroom (although shower cubicle small). Fridge available (one shelf per room) in the corridor.
We stayed at this lovely bed and breakfast as we were getting a flight out of Ciampino the next day and it was perfect. The train station is a short walk from the property which is great if you didn’t want to stay right in the centre of Rome. We took the train into the centre in the afternoon and it was very straightforward. The reception organised us a taxi for the morning to the airport
The guest house is located 300m from airport link bus. Easy to go to the bus stops. Many shops and places to eat. The owner is very friendly, very helpful, really cares for guests. You can have breakfast any time as food is available in the kitchen well in advance (i had an early flight). The internet is excellent. Room has an quite air-conditioning and mini bar.
For me personally, I wanted accommodation close to Ciampino airport because I had an early morning flight. Carlo the owner offered to take me. The accommodation is a pretty spacious apartment, with a large balcony, above a good pizzeria. From the station it was approximately a 10 min walk, exit the station on the John F. Kennedy Avenue side.
The hotel manager, Ricardo, was very friendly and spoke very good English. When we were checking in, he gave us access to the WiFi and also recommended restaurants for us to have dinner. The room was in very good condition and the location was ideal since it was in close proximity to Ciampino Airport. Overall, it was a great stay.
So close to Ciampino airport, perfect spot if you have an early flight (ours was 6am). They recommended a taxi, which was excellent, turned up on time and cost €20. We took stuff with us from central Rome, but there is a good supermarket and small restaurant close by. Train is €1.50 from Rome Termini and about 10 minutes.
The host was super friendly and very welcoming. I only stayed for one night but I can say it was very quiet and enjoyable. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was also good with different options at your choice. I would recommend this place, especially if you are looking for a place near Ciampino airport.
The staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and welcoming. Our room was large enough for our family of 3 and even had a little mini fridge. Everything was clean and tidy. The shuttle to the airport was a flat rate of 15 euro and on time. You need to reserve at the desk upon check in.
