As it was a low season, hotel was just preparing for the summer. The place is amazing. Extremely nice pool area. Less than 100 meters to a nice beach, where sun beds are free for hotel customers. Basic gym. Entertainment team was putting a lot of effort to make hotel guests enjoy their stay.
But the highest ranking goes to hotel lunch and dinner. Selection and quality were amazing. Pizza, pasta, lasagne, salads, chicken, fish, bbq meat, dessert selection. Good enough red and white wine free of charge. Chef and other kitchen personnel must be this year on a different level compared to comments from previous years. Some dishes were better than in ”premium level” restaurants in Italy.
Rosa dei Venti is located in the touristy town of Lu Bagnu, 3 km from the centre of Castelsardo. Rooms are air-conditioned, and some offer views of the sea. There is a sandy beach across the road.
Hotel Residence Ampurias is a seaside establishment facing the beach in Lu Bagnu neighbourhood, only 2 km from Castelsardo. Enjoy comfortable accommodation and friendly service.

Tina and the team (especially Giovanni) are absolutely exceptional. So polite and friendly - their welcoming approach alone would make us come back to La Fattoria. Overall La Fattoria is a great place to stay, in a great position close to Castelsardo and excellent road links. Wonderful scenery, lovely people.

Poor selection of breakfast. Inadequate and we wish we did not pay for it. It was a selection of a few cut pre-cut cakes like sand cakes and croissants. Very sugary. Almoat no vegetables, meat or fruits. The juice was very synthetic tasting and tasted of actual soap. The view was good but traffic was very severe right outside the appartment.

Castelsardo was a wonderful surprise. It's an amazing little town. It's quite difficult to move without a car, unless you're very fitted (not my case). The little town around the castle is gorgeous.

A lovely town with plenty going on while we were there (mid July). The castle is worth a visit and in the evening there was entertainment in the town square. Lots of lovely places to eat and reasonably priced. We only stayed three nights as we were travelling around the northern part of the island, but would definitely recommend Castelsardo as a nice place to stay.

Small historical city with beautifull oceanviews, small seafood restaurants in shade of narrow streets of the historical center. Perfect place for romantic dinner. A small sand beach in the city, others close to city. Enough for one day stay. 3km is Lu Bagno, where you find cheaper accomodation.

If you are traveling from one side of the island to the other a quick stop (one or two nights) is plenty. You can easily access some beautiful beaches from there within 30 minutes. We did not go into the old city where the castle is, because we have already seen and been to dozens of old cites and it was hot. Staying at this property allowed seeing the castle at sunset and the night lights from a distance which I’m sure was much cooler than if you were in the city. There is NOTHING to do or see in the outskirts. There was an excellent restaurant next to our apartment named Ristorante Rocca 'Ja easily accessible from the main highway and has PERFECT views of the castle at sunset.
We stayed in Marta Boat with our 2 children. It was a unique experience for all of us. Our daughters were crying when we had to leave and begged for coming back. The boat was clean and comfortable, the host is super kind and helpful. Waking up in the morning on a boat and eating delicius croissons was awesome as well as drinking wine and watching the sunset from the deck. Castelsardo is a quet and beautiful little place with colorful houses and good restaurants and Marta boat is in walking distance from everything.
I stayed at Real B&B Primo Sole for 3 nights in October while I was travelling in Sardinia. I was travelling alone and Giuseppe communicated with me through WhatsApp. On my arrival he greeted me with a warm hello and check-in went perfectly! The location was within a short walking distance to the beach and restaurants. Giuseppe and Franca live in the ground floor of the property and they are always available for questions. Wifi had a very good signal so I could communicate with friends at home.
Really great location near 2 beaches and lots of restaurants to choose from. There is a surf club very nearby with paddle boarding and kayaking too.
The owners and staff are all so friendly and happy to help. We are so thankful to the hosts for how wonderful they made our stay. They were able to arrange car rental and transport to/from the airport easily.
The breakfast was great every morning with a good selection. It was so nice to have breakfast made every morning and very cheaply!

Gabriel and his friend were very communicative, we didn't have any problems finding the apartment and receiving the keys. Apartment is very spacious and cozy, AC works perfect, very close to the beaches and shops! Huge positive for the garage and shower outside (when coming back from beach). 11/10 for this place, would highly recommend for all who wish to stay in Sardinia!
There was ample parking near the property, which is uphill from the sea. The spacious accommodation was just 10/15 mins walk from the nearest beach and restaurants.
It was possible to see the sea from the front porch seating area.
Breakfast for our two night stay was prepared and laid out when we arrived.
Very nice place in the centre of Castelsardo! We loved the localisation near to everything and with possaibility to park a car. The room was clean and very cosy with very nice terrace to have a breakfast or glass of evening wine with view. The host was very helpful and gave us lot of recommendations.

The breakfast was great. There was a lot of food and possibilities to have a various breakfast with an awesome view over Castelsardo and the sea. The staff was really friendly, outgoing and really courteously! Near the hotel are a lot free parking spots.
We really liked the hotel. We had a sea view, the room was comfortable, air conditioned, good wifi, nice staff. It is not in Castelsardo but about 1.5 miles away, but less congested and loads of restaurants to walk to. I recommend it.

Rooms had lovely balcony views over the water. Pool was cleaned every morning. The price of the cocktails was very reasonable, and they were well made.

Excellent location to explore Castelsardo. The room was clean and comfortable with a generous continental breakfast. Having a balcony to dry towels after swimming was a bonus.
The location is a 5 min walk from the center. The pool is large and the you have very nice view of Castelsardo and the ocean. You also have access to a small private beach.
