It's close to the highway exit but still has quite a remote feel, with a view across farmland. the pool is lovely - long enough for a decent swim and with a shallow area for kids. The nearest town has nice restaurants and cafes and is great for a little wandering around. An unusual hotel with large communal areas but only 12 rooms making it feel empty. It is used for functions.

Location overlooking Segesta Temple was stunning, in the daytime and evening.
Host Antonia was very kind and generous.
Breakfast on the terrace was excellent and varied each day, including herbs which she harvested.
The room was comfortable and facilities were adequate.
Although quite remote, there was a bus stop close by to Trapani.

Roberto met us at a car park and we followed him to the house to avoid the road works. There was a choice of delicious home made and home grown products at breakfast. Roberto kept us informed of the opening hours of the temple affected by the wildfires.

Calatafimi is a small, peaceful town surrounded by vineyards and olive trees. Very old, in general well maintained. The locals are friendly, there are some interesting historic and archaeological sites close by, and the beach is not too far away, but it's not overrun by tourists. There are some beautiful little churches to see and the ruins of a castle in town. Every meal we had was delicious!! I will definitely go back
We were looking for a quiet place in the countryside and we found paradise. Villetta San Giovanni is located ca. 4 km from Calatafimi-Segesta (a car is a must) on a hill, facing the town and the countryside. It is calm and quiet, during the night you can enjoy stars above you.
The house is very spacious and well equipped. Andrea is an excellent host, very friendly and always willing to help. We loved the garden with lots of fruit and vegetables and it was great to have an opportunity to take care of the chickens and collect the eggs
The hotel was very clean and parking was possible on sight, free if charge. The staff was very helpful and they even suggested a very good restaurant to us in Castellammare del Golfo. The surroundings are very quiet and it’s a very peaceful stay. You can also enjoy the beautiful scenery of the surrounding fields from the rooms. The breakfast room was very private as we had a room of our own and it was also equipped with a T.V.
Very friendly stuff (though only spoke Italian); great swimming pool, open earlier in the year than many others. Lovely grounds - peaceful and atmospheric (although they are carefully disguising a view over a local farm). Easy access to the ruins at Segesta. Useful recommendations for places to eat in nearby Calatafimi.
The hotel is in a beautiful location with a great setting. Check-in was easy and the owners very friendly. And the room was a very nice, relatively new suite. Large, clean right above the pool. Breakfast was good with plenty of food. We also had a four or five course meal the night we arrived. Outstanding.

Had the best of time in Calatafimi, a beautiful underrated town in the Agrigento area. Hosts are super friendly and willing to assist with anything you may need. The location is ideal and centrally located to many many interesting sites in the area.
Location of this hotel is wonderful. We recieved clear directions and had amzing views of the Greek temple whilst driving down the (gravely, dusty but easily drivable) road. Food was amazing, setting wonderful, huge bedroom and friendly dogs.

Such a beautiful place, we felt very welcome and we would highly recommend staying here... is better to arrive from calatafimi direction as google maps sent us on a very small rd.. apart from that Andrae was a super friendly host!
