The breakfast was superb! The staff members were friendly and helpful. The location was very pleasant once traffic ended. The pool are and saunas were fantastic; as were the outdoor sun terrace areas. A real top-notch hotel thinking of guests' needs in every way.

The lack of hospitality was shocking and left me speechless. Despite the scenic views, I will never return to this hotel and would not recommend it to anyone. The beautiful view is not worth the horrible treatment and inflexible policies.

I highly recommended staying at this place. Ms. Anna, the hostess, is a bit of a know-it-all. We got provisions for the road and a morning lift to Lago do Braies. She took care of us like we were family, even though we were only staying one night before the hike. We'd love to come back with the family for a longer stay.

Braies is very beautiful location, nice lake, good parking and food. It us better to come in the morning, because of changing wheather and a lot of tourists. The boat renting is expensive 50€/person/ 1/2 hour.

Braies is a beautiful location but comes at a price.....lots of people. We decided to go slightly further a field and walked to one of the huts.
For those visiting in a day trip be aware that one side of the lake involves climbing up and down steps so give yourself enough time and wear the right footwear.

We travel a lot, but I do think that this area in the Italien Dolomites was one of the most beautiful one. Would highly recommend it, especially if you love to hike through woods, etc. - it has a very Austrian feel in the architecture - the area belonged to Austria until the end of WW2.
We loved Steinerhof! The room was cosy, confortable and clean, and the balcony is perfect for having a good reading with stunning views. The hotel has a good location (for everyone that want to go to key points in the dolomites and has a car) and amazing views to the surronding green fields and mountains. The staff was always so friendly and nice! Also, the breakfast was good and the food in their restaurant was amazing - really well cooked and tasty. We strongly recommend this place. :)
Only 5 mins driving away from the Braies Lake. This is the ideal location if you want to wake up a sunrise time to watch the changing lake reflection photo ops at the lake. Did all that and come back to the hotel for breakfast. The staffs are extremely accommodating. Because we visited during the in between seasons, we are the only guest at the inn. Still, they prepared a full menu of breakfast just for the three of us and did not cut corners.
Beautiful location on the side of the valley. Great breakfast. Proper agrotourism.. we were in the farmhouse. The host took us to Lago de Braies for the start of the Alta Via 1 walk for a small cost which was really helpful. We walked down to the village for supper, which took about 10 minutes. Good communication with the host when I was booking as we were a group of 7. Would recommend and would use again.
the gasthof of Huber is located in a beautiful valley surrounded by mountain view. right opposite to the local bus 442 stop, convenient access to lago de Braies and cortina. its restaurant serves delicious meals. wine tasted good. breakfast is included. i particularly liked the bread and vegetables. room is clean and bed is comfortable. I would definitely consider coming back in future trip.
The location was perfect for Lago de Braies and about a 45 minute drive from Lago de Sorapis. The room is situated in a very relaxing small town, and the ranch has very beautiful scenery and animals. The room was very clean and comfortable. The shower was awesome with fantastic water pressure and a large space. We had breakfast delivered to our room and it was delicious. Overall great stay.
Location is amazing...iconic boathouse and lined rowboats were right outside my balcony. Entire staff were exceptional. Bed is so comfortable. Food was amazing. Breakfast buffet of savory and sweet dishes was incredible. I have traveled around much of the planet and without a doubt, this hotel has theeee best breakfast I've ever had at a hotel.
the hotel location is really good, only 20-30 min walk from Braies lake or 5 min by bus, and the bus station is literally in front of the hotel, also it sits opposite a restaurant for lunch or dinner, i was lucky enough to have the room with a balcony and the view was wonderful. The breakfast was very good as well with a good variety.

The hotel is wonderful, set in a beautiful location, nearby all the hiking trails and of course Lago di Braies. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. The best thing after a long day hiking is of course the jacuzzi with mountain view♥️ Breakfast has everything you would wish for. Our favorite hotel in Südtirol so far!
It was the best accommodation in our trip to Italy so far! It felt very cozy and warm in the room. The location was very convenient for us to reach Lago di Braies. The breakfast was superb. The host and the whole team were really welcoming and friendly. My only regret is booking only one night in this place.
The rooms were amazing! They kindly upgraded us to a bigger room and it definitely was more spacious than we were expecting! Very nice bathrooms/showers and comfortable beds. I’d highly recommend d anyone going to visit lake braies to stay here! We woke up for sunrise at the lake and got there in 10 min!
The location is very pretty even though we had a little walk from the bus stop to reach the hotel. The location is also close to Lago di Braies. We liked that they have allowed us to use their kitchen so we can cook our own dinner. The staff and owner is very nice and accommodating.
Everything was absolutely incredible. Alex, the chief of the hotel, is very kind and goes above and beyond to make your stay memorable. the location is unmatched and the facilities are wonderfully relaxing. Will be recommendeding this place to anyone visiting the dolomites!
The staff were very kind and helped us with every request. The room was spectacular and the food was delicious. We had some food restrictions and the hotel staff were kind enough to modify the food so that it would fit our diet.
Very good location, very close to Lago Braies. One stop by bus or 2 km on foot going through forest, but you will have to go uphill, but downhill if you go back from the Lago.
