The food was extremely delicious - best pizzas I've ever eaten, and the breakfast was really tasty (lots of choices).
The location was beautiful - we had a nice view on the mountains from our room, and there is a hotel 1 km up the hill which offers even more spectacular view.
The jacuzzi was great, warm and clean.

Braies is very beautiful location, nice lake, good parking and food. It us better to come in the morning, because of changing wheather and a lot of tourists. The boat renting is expensive 50€/person/ 1/2 hour.

Braies is a beautiful location but comes at a price.....lots of people. We decided to go slightly further a field and walked to one of the huts.
For those visiting in a day trip be aware that one side of the lake involves climbing up and down steps so give yourself enough time and wear the right footwear.

We travel a lot, but I do think that this area in the Italien Dolomites was one of the most beautiful one. Would highly recommend it, especially if you love to hike through woods, etc. - it has a very Austrian feel in the architecture - the area belonged to Austria until the end of WW2.
We stayed in a beautiful newly renovated, well equipped apartment. There was a small kitchen with a cooktop, a small toaster oven, and a fridge. It was spotless, and the owner was very nice and friendly (despite our inability to speak German or Italian). The home is on a small working farm. The views are beautiful and it is very peaceful. There were fresh eggs available for a donation and some jams and preserves too. It's a short bus trip to Lagos di Braies.
The room was nice, always clean, the bed was comfy. We appreciated the host’s amiability even though she was not speaking English and we found a way to communicate. The breakfast was tasty and healthy. The croissants we received each morning were very good so we asked for extra croissants to take with us on the way back home. No extra hidden fees. Great location. Free parking in front of the hotel.
The location was perfect for Lago de Braies and about a 45 minute drive from Lago de Sorapis. The room is situated in a very relaxing small town, and the ranch has very beautiful scenery and animals. The room was very clean and comfortable. The shower was awesome with fantastic water pressure and a large space. We had breakfast delivered to our room and it was delicious. Overall great stay.
The property is beautiful; you can tell it was recently updated and it was done very well. The room setup was spacious and very high end looking, but very comfortable. There is a beautiful trail right next to the hotel that has a bridge with a waterfall and a stunning Mountain View; they even have bunnies that run around in the snow. It was a quick drive away from the lake and Dobbacio.
We loved the room, the interior is beautifully done… great craftsmanship. They duvet is amazing :) loved everything about the room and cozy hotel.
The surrounding area is gorgeous, loved all the animals and green pastures.
The breakfast was fantastic, attention to detail and the host went out of their way to accommodate us (vegans)

Amazing location and beautiful village! Proximity to Lago di Braies and some amazing hikes. Owners very caring and helpful and will go an extra mile, have helped me communicate with a car mechanic and took me to another town to pick up my car free of charge. The property was pet friendly and they were very accommodating to my dog
it was a pleasure to stay here with Anka & Claus. the room was fresh, clean, and tasteful. the breakfast was excellent with eggs, bacon, yogurts, fruit, and more. the setting among the mountains and close by Lake Braies was perfect. The excellent pizza restaurant nearby delicious!
Everything was absolutely incredible. Alex, the chief of the hotel, is very kind and goes above and beyond to make your stay memorable. the location is unmatched and the facilities are wonderfully relaxing. Will be recommendeding this place to anyone visiting the dolomites!
We really enjoyed our stay at Turmchaelt. The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly and the hotel had nice facilities(hot tub and sauna). In addition to that the breakfast and dinner included in the price made our stay - got to try and enjoy South-Tyrolean food!
The hotel is just 5mins from the lake and it's highly recommended. Great quality for the price. The beds were really comfy and big. The breakfast offered good quality ham, prosciutto and cheese, range of cereals and other sweet options.

Food was outstanding, they provide breakfast, afternoon tea and also a Dinner which was the highlight of the meals.
The location, very close to Lago di Braies was fabulous, the staff were friendly, hard-working and happy to accommodate us. The granola mixes and fresh croissants for breakfast were an unexpected delight.
