Elune B&B was a pleasant surprise located on a lovely town called Baunei. Important for us, it is family owned and run. Very well kept, with efficient HVAC working, very clean. For those who doesn’t like the beach and beachy environments (i.e. me) it is far enough from it but for those who like the beach (i.e. my sons) it is only 15 minutes’ drive, the perfect balance for all. The views the valley, form de balcony, are wonderful.

The location was a 5 minute walk from the centre. The view was unbelievable and the room was very clean. We had a slight problem with the room but the host came and resolved the problem within a few hours. The bed wasn’t as comfy as other beds we have stayed in but we had a good sleep both nights.

At first, the location and atmosphere of Baunei are amazing! The altitude is about 500 meters, and you will see the whole valley, really old buildings (500 years and more), the locals are very authentic: grannies in black suits, like in some region of Sicily. The main church, which is visible from the apartment window... every morning and every evening we listened to the beautiful ringing of the bells. In the morning, local cafes can pour you the strongest espresso you have ever drunk)) it's nice... So, about the apartment: It is absolutely new, clean, smells. There are 2 bedrooms (for 2 adults and 1 child). All the furniture is new and comfortable. We found a lot of interesting toys for a 5-year-old child in her room. There is also a large terrace and a cozy balcony. We spent every breakfast and every dinner on this beautiful balcony. The air conditioning works great, the Internet is working and there is simply nothing to complain about. About the hostess: We travel a lot, but this place really surprised us: super clean, great connections, and a gift from father's garden in the fridge definitely made me want to go to this place. Thank you!

The host was very nice and super helpful. She recommended some places for us to visit. In terms of the accommodation, it was perfect, like the pictures and very clean. The breakfast was very good and different both days, so we could discover the specialities and the view was breathtaking.

Baunei was a beautiful town which exceeded expectations. It is brilliantly located 15/20 mins away from stunning rocky or sandy beaches. There are 2 little supermarkets which do a roaring trade and some lovely restaurants as well as a very popular gelateria which is open until 11ish!
Away from the coast the road beyond Baunei winds through some amazing and dramatic scenery.

Baunei is a beautiful historical village built on the side of a mountain. The views are amazing. Great restaurants and gelato. Fun place to visit for a few nights. We also visited Cala Goloritze while staying in Baunei. A beautiful hike to paradise. The hike out is difficult during the hot temperatures.

We loved Baunei. Especially the village itself up in the mountains. Close knit community. Friendly locals and gorgeous mountain views.
We had expected to be in closer proximity to the Coastline. But Baunei is a hill top village.

This small village is just recently explored by tourists, there are good restaurants and bars, beautiful panorama. Houses partly rebuilt and partly in bad, abandoned conditions. It is a perfect place for visiting Supramonte and its beaches.

Baunei in itself is not very interesting, even though the view is splendid. And from here you can reach some of the most breathtaking places in the eastern Sardegna - Gola di Su Goroppu, Cala Goloritzè e Pedra Longa - and the beautiful beach of Santa Maria di Navarrese - and others.

Felt like a part of the furniture. Cafe centro was brilliant and we ate their often, and the gelato shop was incredible too. If you want somewhere with rustic authentic charm then this is the place for you!
We did a boat tour to some of the beaches which was amazing and we hired a car so we could explore! I think one thing I’d say is that you definitely need a car when staying there as it’s so high up in the mountains.
The apartment is very nice decorated with lots of beautiful details and it’s also very practical for 4 people. It’s situated in the top of Baunei with breathtaking views.
We slept better here than in our home and that says a lot !
Mario is a very nice man and a splendid host who gives you lots of if information and tips of what to do in the area , and there is so much to see and explore so we have to come back soon.
Really lovely little hotel in the mountains. Equipment was a little oldschood, but I didn't mind. Breakfasts were good, but I am spoiled with eggs & bacon being a standard these days - here you couldn't get a warm dish for breakfast. View from the balcony was beautiful, parking wasn't a problem. Ladies at the reception were extremely friendly, overall we were very happy with this little gem 💎😊

Very nice appartment, well equiped, beautiful terras, parking space in front of the door. Within 10 mins one walks to the nice and cosy centre of Baunei. Raffaelle is a nice host who is very helpful.
