Stayed here during my roadtrip. so wanted a place with a good bed and proper facilities. and they do have it. the room is clean and comfortable. The rooms are spacious as well. Passing through Udupi, the hotel's location, makes it easy for me to prefer it for a pecful rest stop. the food is good.

Udupi Comforts is a newly started Hotel. Hence they are still learning. The hotel front and the entrance lobby were attractively made up. There was ample space for the car park. The person at the reception had to transfer the baggage to the rooms since there was no housekeeping staff. Also, only one set of soap and towel was provided for two persons. But they supplied the second set on request. The room was of good size and it was clean. AC was working. They did not provide breakfast and the restaurant wasn't close by. Overall the stay was quite good.
They can improve the room service by adding some staff.
We had breakfast at Shanti Sagar and dinner at Woodlands.
Udupi is now a developed modern City.

Udupi is a nice city with courteous and mild-mannered people. The temple is the main attraction and its precincts are clean and well maintained. Malpe beach has clean sands and white frothy waves lapping at one's feet. Food is tasty with delectable vegetarian fare as well as sea-food. No visit is complete without having hot filter coffee !!

Pros: Spirituality meets fun. Calm beaches and traditional temples. The people here are extremely helpful. Beaches: Kodi Bengere, Malpe, Kapu and Maravanthe. Temples: Udupi Krishna, Chandramouleeshwara temple, Annegudi Vinayaka, Kollur Mookambika, Brahmalingeshwara, Dharmasthala Majunatha swami
Food: Mangalore buns, Neer Dosa, Mangalore bajji, Patrade, Kadubu, Menthiya dosa, Kokkum
MTR, Hotel Latha Veg, Mitra Samaj and Woodlands are some good places
Cons: Beware of private bus drivers who drive rash, if you're driving around.

The Mill restaurant opposite to MIT, must be on your cards. What a place.. with stream next to it( rainy season) and greenery,, The only thing I did not like in this place is the music. Silence would have been very nice to be close to nature hearing water stream and birds crisping..
Manipal is very clean city. And the drive from Belgaum to Manipal is amazing.
I had booked this property and made full offline payment to stay vista well in advance of 3 days, however a couple of hours before my travel, i got a call from stay vista that the owner wants to stay in the property and our booking is cancelled. I was traveling with my family and had 2 small kids with us. The representative from stay vista was also very rude informing me of the cancellation. Even after cancellation, they took 4 days to refund my money.

The service was beyond excellent. This is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. Rooms, bathrooms, service, staff, food. Clean, spotless, fresh. Didn't feel like using the bathroom because it looked so fresh and clean. Everything was excellent. A definite recommend.
Only thing hotel staff need to keep in mind, is that since the hotel is only 1.5 years old, its service is excellent. This level of excellent service should stay the same or get better even 5 or 10 years down the line, not go down.
It is a really good place to crash and stay for a day or two. Also people do come here to stay for longer period. It's about eight or 9 km away from Udupi and the closest beach is about 6 km and the commute is really easy. You can either choose to get food from the people from the stay or you can order in yourself using Swiggy zomato. Overall the place is a good pick to stay for day or for a few days. The staff was really friendly and helpful.
I liked the stay and it’s worth the amount I paid. we booked an executive room, till last minute at the hotel, I felt it is so good. every thing you need , will be available near to the room. I really liked the staff, especially Vinay Singh from house keeping, are really good. I can say from next time whenever I visit udupi/Manipal, I will book the same hotel for sure. rooms are clean and nice.

Overall cleanliness of the hotel is good.the bathroom is clean but the window faces into a chute which sometimes smells.
It even has a on site restaurant that serves veg and non veg food.The paneer chili is soooo delicious but spicy!!
We had a great time in Udipi. Both Mr O'Neil and his wife Mrs Preeti are really kind and very helpful. They really go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. The complementary breakfast is really delicious as well. I'm really thankful to them for finding us a car last minute so that we could visit all the places around Udupi. Overall we had a really nice stay.

Very clean and comfortable. Unlike a lot of hotels in India, the shower area was inside a glass enclosure ensuring the bathroom stays clean and dry. Staff were very courteous. Two excellent restaurants on prem.
