We stayed for four days at Trident Udaipur and calling it an ‘excellent experience’ would be an understatement. :) It was such a memorable stay, all thanks to the exceptional staff of Trident Udaipur. We would like to make a special mention for the following members of the staff: Ms. Neha, Mr. Shekhar, Mr. Mahipal, Mr. Pardeep, Mr. Vikram, Mr. Manas, Mr. Brijraj, Mr. Rupin, Mr. Sangey, Mr. Shanti Lal and all the other warm and courteous guards at the entrance of the hotel (their smiles as wide as their impressive moustaches).
Lush green property, lovely clean rooms, well-maintained common areas and superb food. The breakfast spread is really good and the service is 11/10.
Such wonderful hospitality! We would recommend Trident Udaipur to family and friends in a heartbeat! And we will be back for sure. :)

Charming, clean and beautifully furnished guest house located in the heart of Udaipur’s old town. Family owned and run for several generations, the staff were welcoming, accommodating and spoke excellent English - they gave us all the best tips for the surrounding area, all in walkable distance! The breakfast was included and we paid extra for dinner, which was really good value and both were exceptional! We were in a deluxe superior room and the glass detail on all the little windows was magical - we will miss waking up to the beautiful light it gave off. The little garden guest house was perfect and suited our every need - we would definitely come again! And highly recommend to anyone.

Everything was just perfect - the palatial room with ornate, old paintings on the roof, ancient royal luxury combined beautifully with all the modern amenities one could ask for, very courteous, super helpful staff, superb menu choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner with a fantastic range of options at the bar. We ate only at the multi-cuisine restaurant. The view from the hotel and the room is truly spectacular, makes you want to soak it in and carry it away with you. We would surely love to go back there.

Udaipur, a city of lakes is best enjoyed during winter (Oct-Feb) and monsoon if you do not mind getting wet. A visit to City Palace, Salelion Ki Bari, Monsoon Palace, Pratap Smarak, visit to Lake Pichola and Fateh Sagar Lake is enjoyable. Shopping at Hathipole market is good.

There won't be a better place to stay in Udaipur. Yes, it is expensive for India, but if you want that little bit of luxury in a gorgeous setting with views over the lake, great food, fantastic service, friendly and helpful staff, 5 min walk to the Palace gates, and frankly a get away from it all vibe this is the place for you. It is very very lovely boutique.
this place will give you a feeling of real India… it has something that foreign backpackers love. the atmosphere inside is very good, even though the windows face traffic (lake is also there), there is a sense of peace. the place is small so there will be no indian hangout (many hotels in udaipur have very noisy indian guests with alcohol).
The ambience is very nice and the greatest part is it is situated just near Lake pichola and the city palace you can enjoy the view , also there is a roof top restaurant. Everything in the food item is not so much costly and delicious. I would love to book this again.
