The number of temples around but most of them not well maintained.The transport services in and around Tirunelveli not very satisfactory.The restaurant attached to the hotel was good and offered variety of South Indian dishes.But the weather around this time was quite hot.

Tirunelveli is a city offering a variety of features, in and around: hindu temples, from nellaiappar temple to nava tirupathis, known for beautiful architecture; river tambirabarani, ever flowing, but choose where to bathe carefully; upstream locations like kallidaikurichi, ambasamudram, and of course agasthiyar falls are good; if in season, courtallam is very appealing with it s falls; kalakkad sanctuary; variety of transport--auto, taxi, rented car, and public bus...are all good, but negotiate in advance. festival days like panguni uthiram get large number of visitors making transport and stay at short notice very difficult. finally, enjoy tirunelveli halwa, sourced from good shops.

This was our first visit to this temple town and we didn't have too much time to be able to comment on the town. It was a bit congested, but this is expected, in a place that is famous for its temples.
We had a very pleasant stay here. The staff were helpful, and courteous. The breakfast spread was excellent. The quality of dishes during dinner was outstanding. Our compliments to the chef, Mr.Selvam. Personal touches in the room such as jasmine flowers and chikki for bedtime was a delight. The bathrooms were clean, the hot water showers worked well. The facilities were clean and well-maintained. The hotel arranged taxi service which was convenient, though the initial quote for the service was slightly off.
The hotel seems to be started newly and as there is no patronage home service was very poor and no in home restaurant is available except morning. When we checked in as there was no food available, we have to go for food outside waisting time and energy when we all are tired. When we switch on the TV in the bedroom ,the other TV in the hall stop working . Very sorry and regret for booking a room here and waste of money of eight thousand and yard. No bar as shown in the list of facility shown there.

The Stay at Tirunelveli was awesome. This is a independent fully furnished villa with all amenities like Fridge, Washing machine, gas stove, utensils. This villa can accommodate 6 to 8 members comfortably. The place is walkable from the tirunelveli to tiruchendur by-pass. Near by for morning breakfast you have Aryas Grand hotel. Overall, the stay is superb and will recommend.
This is right bang on at the heart of the city. Nellaiappar temple is appox 15-20 min drive from Hotel. Very near bus stand. Great restaurant with tasty options and great staff. Parking is ample, but underground. Would suggest people travelling in SUV to park at ground level.
The breakfast was average. It took a long time for them to replenish if something was over. Both for the make to order and also for buffet system. On a scale of 1 to 5 with 5 being best - i would rate them at 2 for breakfast or lunch or dinner.
Rooms were spacious.

Considering its thirunelveli and that the options are limited. This hotel is ok. One cant expect Taj Mahal hotel when you are in such a town and paying under 3k for a room.

Had a pleasant and comfortable stay at Janakiram hotel. well maintained, hygiene and clean rooms. Hospitable staff and this hotel is right in the heart of tirunelveli town.
Opp to new bus stand, restaurants veg and non veg in the walkable distance and comfy rooms are great plus to this hotel. Definitely recommended for travelers/yatris.
I had a bad experience with this hotel, for a 2300/- Rs you can find really comfortable rooms at nellai, this is very bad - I will not suggest to anyone
