During our recent stay at Prazeres Hotel in Panjim, we were blown away by the unparalleled hospitality and comfort provided by the hotel staff, particularly the owner and his team.
What truly stood out was the warm and welcoming atmosphere created by the owner made us feel right at home. His genuine politeness and friendliness made our stay truly memorable, and we felt like we were staying with family rather than in a hotel.
The amenities provided at the hotel were top-notch, with everything we needed conveniently available on level zero without any extra charges. From the washing machine and dryer to the microwave oven, the hotel left no stone unturned in ensuring our convenience and comfort.
The staff, led by the attentive and accommodating Mr. Dheeraj at the reception, went above and beyond to ensure that our needs were met throughout our stay. Their friendly and helpful demeanor made us feel valued as guests, and we were truly impressed by their dedication to customer satisfaction.

Its a afantastic city if you have the time to just walk around and absorb the ambience. The people are very friendly once you get to know them.
You should definitely visit Miski bar next to Panjim Post office and try their Beef / Chicken cafreal sandwich as well as the prawn cafreal and do not leave the city without trying goa's local beer People's.
Also book a walking tour with Soul Travels and ask for Kunal or Bob. You will not be disappointed.

Loved the location in the Portuguese area, we spent three full days exploring the immediate area and nearby - all on foot - except a trip to Old Goa by local bus. We had simple lunches, usually samosas (the best we have ever tasted) and chai with dinner at local Fontainhas restaurants including our hotel.

As a woman, I felt very uncomfortable and unsafe with the men they allow inside the hotel - just sitting around men sitting around lobby staring. Even at dinner at the hotel, we had the same experience - with extremely cheap men sitting around and just staring at women like we were there for their entertainment.
The hotel also lies about cab services for guests, insisting that you only use cab services run by thugs - stationed outside the premises. They charge extremely high rates and are complete bullies. All you need to do is walk up the street to the high way and you can take far more reasonable cabs/ taxis - but the hotel doesnt even infrom you about this. Shows how much they value their customers and a basic level of customer service. Pathetic customer service by double tree by Hilton Panaji. Do not waste your time at this hotel.

We spent a lovely week at the Mariott Resort and Spa in Panaji, Goa accompanied by our daughter and our friend. It is in a great location, on banks of the Mandovi river estuary looking out to sea, but not far from downtown Panaji. The staff were friendly and always helpful. In the dining room we were well looked after by staff Khevana who remembered what we liked and the Jr. Sou-Chef Dattaguru looked after our special requests, and enjoyed our connection with Avinash.
This is my 3rd time at Cidade de Goa. Their hospitality and attention to detail for customer is excellent. Property is excellently located away from the bustle of Panaji yet close drivable to great restaurants within 8 to 10mins. Private beach is another plus with Adventure sports included. Would love to visit again. Special mention for Nikita who took great care of us through our extended stay,
Everything is perfect here. Jeanette and Clifton are so warm, proud of their heritage home and business, and it shows. All the staff is extremely friendly and professional. And the place is pristine clean. Perfect location. Beautiful, relaxed rooftop. Will stay here in the future and will recommend it to anyone going to Goa. Can’t wait to return.
The place was close to a beach which was not crowded at all. The host is really good person and fun to talk. He did help us to plan our daily trips to city and it really helped us to optimise the tike we had in Goa. The vibe of the place was amazing and it was fun having talk with other guests and host during breakfast.
THE hospitality of the staff, Mr. Dhiraj was immensely great. Wonderful and cheerful support from him during the stay. Also, the other members of staff, Gargi and Sonali are very humble and supportive.

Great location, Comfy rooms and very helpful staff. If you are travelling with kids, Vivanta is a no brainier as you don’t have to worry about your kids special needs. Panaji is perfect to do a walking tour of Fontainhas and Casinos if you are interested.

The Resort is located at an excellent location. The room however is average. You are technically only paying for the location and an ordinary room. The swimming pool was clean, although weirdly designed. The beach is dirty which is not surprising considering the polluted beaches in Goa.
Everything was fantastic, worth every penny.
My stay was amazing experience, I felt sad leaving the resort.
I recommend this resort to everyone.

The grandeur of a heritage home at the price of a normal hotel room. The entire hotel has a wonderful aesthetic appearance and has many stories to tell, intertwined with the history of Goa. Well managed and ongoing maintenance done very meticulously.
