Avoid travelling during weekends or peak season, as the place might be too crowded. Early mornings and late evenings are pure bliss. Don't stay in mussoorie instead stay in dehradun and from there book a cab.
Start your journey from Dehradun to mussoorie early in the morning (around 6-7am so you can avoid endless traffic) and you will finish every tourist point till 4-5PM easily and go back to Dehradun.
Don't stay in mussoorie it's a pathetic place. Also skip kempty fall, not a worthy place to visit but must visit dalai hill. There isn't much exciting expecting hill view that we always get in such places.

Mussoorie is the Queen of Holl Stations. You get incredible views of the snow clad Himalayan ranges from many points.
It is a bustling town with great restaurants, fast food joints, multitude of hotels of all categories.
Happy Valley, a Buddhist centre with a temple are worth visiting, as is the Landour area with spectacular mountain views. There are very interesting Tibetan market stalls on The Mall road with bargain prices for various clothing and trinkets.
Weather is best from March to June and September to mid November, but an enjoyable destination year round. Easy access by car and only an hour away from airport and train station.
I visited GoStops Mussoorie on 27th of May. Initially decided to stay there for 2 days. 2 days turned into 2 weeks in a blink of an eye. The stay there was comforting, homely and full of life!
Shiva, Pushpak and Kanchan managed the property so well. My mornings were blissful and nights were calm. They helped me with all my queries.
For people travelling solo or with a bunch of friends, looking for a stay in mussoorie should definitely visit GoStops Picture Palace, Mussoorie. They great facilities and happy faces too.

I loved the views from our hotel. I loved the star gazing in the clear sky.. also best was the hospitality by hotel staff.
View point above resort after a walk of 1km was a highlight of the stay. We saw sunset on one side of valley n sea of clouds on other side. One side v get mesmerizing view of dehradun.
Food was expectionally good .. and was served to us as per our needs.
Service was fast n always had something extra to offer. Overall experience of stay was very pleasant. Hope we had another day to stay n rejuvenate ourselves.
This is no doubt best pet friendly resort in Mussoorie and Landour. We stayed there in 2021 November end and it was so leisure stay. Their warm hosting, service, food and special hosting for the pets is jus awesome.

Food and Staff is best at hotel...Only my concern is I booked the hotel through Booking.com and it's clearly mentioned that breakfast is included but at hotel they deined to serve Breakfast. Rest everything is good. Actually hotel is occupied via OYO and we booked Via Booking.com, so look like they is some issue between Oyo and Booking.com and customer need to bear the issue.

My stay during New Year's time was really good and I must say the hotel was the same as it was shown in booking.com. Staff was really helpful and room service was quick. But the best part was the Hill view from the hotel & my room was really awesome. Second best part was it was just a 2 mins walk away from the mall road.
We had chosen the mountain view. The view from the room was simply amazing. The room was very clean and nice. There is a cafe on the first floor where you can sit and read. The property is also on mall road so it is very convenient to shop and eat. Other than that it was a very pleasant experience staying in this hotel.
The hotel was wonderful, the food was excellent but I was most impressed by the quality of staff. Special mention must go to staff whose assistance in an important matter was simply above and beyond. If I have the opportunity to visit Mussoorie again, I will not consider any other hotel. Thank you!
