The staff are extremely helpful, we were provided timely packed breakfasts on our early morning starts, and arrangements were made for ordering an early morning taxi. A special mention of the front desk staff - Mr Julphi Ram, and Mr Gautam and the restaurant / waiting staff including Mr Manjeet Singh; for their cooperative & helpful attitude.
We liked the food as it was not oily / spicy, but the breakfast menu was repetitive. Overall, we had a pleasant 5 day stay, and would like to stay here again.

Extremely crowded in weekends, steep climbs on roads so better to book cab and roam around temperature was not that good as expected and as compared to plains. Rinkus cafe is a must visit for live music and good crowd in weekends. Not easy in car to roam around as there are traffic jams all around.

Mcleodganj is a beautiful place if you have a love for the mountains and scenery. Some must-visit places include the Dalai Lama Temple, Bhagsunag Temple & waterfall, and the sunset point. If you are a food enthusiast I would recommend trying wheat momos and laphing. If you have some spare days, you must go on one of the infamous Triund trek surrounded by the Dhauladhar ranges and a beautiful scenery of snow-covered mountains on one side and the cloud-covered village on the other.

It's always a joy to be back in McLeodganj and walk upto Triund and enjoy the serenity of the Tibetan people and the tranquil nature. There are lots of nearby getaways and also monasteries to visit. February is a great month to visit as the days are warm and evenings are pleasant.

I really liked Nadi castle but McLeod Ganj was quite busy and stressful compared to the serene quieter neighbouring areas. I would definitely recommend the area for hikes etc and to stay out of McLeod ganj. I really enjoy my stay in Naddi and am glad I stayed outside of McLeod ganj.

McLeod Ganj is the spiritual capital for Tibetian buddhists as the Dalai Lama stays in McLeod Ganj, the place itself is a veritable melting pot with a lot of people from different cultures visiting McLeod Gang. McLeod Gang has a variety of food options from Tibetian Indian, Continental, Asian, Thai, Korean to choose from.
I had a lovely stay here! The location is between Baghsu and Dharamkot which allowed me to explore both areas as well as McLeod Ganj which was about a 25 min walk. The owners are super nice and are knowledgeable about the area. They’re always willing to address your needs and provide really great recommendations for the town. A special shout-out to Pankaj, the chef, who makes very delicious meals. The dinners taste just like homemade food, which I loved - my only regret is that I couldn’t stay back another night to have dinner there.
This is both a hostel with dorm rooms and and hotel with large private rooms. We had a large private room with excellent air conditioning and a great fan, lots of hot water and lots of space. We did not eat here, but the food is served on a nice roof-top deck. The hotel has a water dispenser with free, unlimited filtered water, chilled or hot. That was great. Location is pretty good -- a short walk to the market area.
It was also nice that we had the option of paying by credit card.
The 6-bed mixed room was well equipped and the bed was comfortable. Overall the hostel was very clean and tidy. It's got a very nice rooftop overlooking mountains and valley. The personnel were very kind very helpful. The location of the hostel is ideal with a convenient variety of nearby restaurants and shops. Also, it's only 10 min walk from Mcleod ganj town centre. I would def come back and I strongly recommend it.
Mitra hostel is such a friendly hostel, serving great food and really really comfortable beds! The location is great too as it’s just in the centre of McLeod ganj a short walk from the market and dalai lama temple. Rajesh is the kindest host and waited up late for us for when our bus was late, he’s full of great advice and incredibly accommodating. We’d definitely return!
It was really amazing experience. Hotel is well decorated very nice room clean and comfortable. The room view is amazing. location of the hotel is good . It's just a 20 minutes walk to the market and Dalai Lama temple. Staff was good they are friendly and helpful .plus point they have there free parking complimentary bonfire 🔥 soft music 🎵🎶
Room was clean, spacious and comfortable and offered a superb view of the mountains. The hotel is situated very well on temple road and is close to main area , restaurants and shops . Staff as well as the owner Mr. Ravi is helpful, friendly and courteous. I throughly enjoyed my stay there. I strongly recommend this hotel to tourists.

Best place to stay in McLeod Ganj for sure. As we were travelling with a 16 month old, the staff and hotel manager, Mr. Wangdu, were kind enough to provide us with any assistance whenever needed. Their breakfast spread is great in variety & taste.
The staff at the Posh Hotel were very helpful and managed to check-in quickly for tired travellers. The rooms were clean, functional with a good view of the hills around. It's an excellent location for the Dali Lama temple and local restaurants.
Location was excellent, and hotel was very modern, well equipped, spacious. Rooms were excellent, the beds were hard but there was a smart TV, modern bathroom, excellent shower. Beautiful views from cafe and mountain view room.
Would absolutely recommend this property - such lovely and helpful hosts with a gorgeous balcony overlooking the mountains and Mcleod Ganj. We had breakfast at the restaurant there which was lovely and very affordable!
