We travelled to Manipal on the rainy day, its vigorous monsoon time and we enjoyed the rainy day since we couldn't see this kind of persistent rain in Bangalore city. Manipal is very clean and beautiful with lots of modern structures to see and enjoy

The weather is humid and it keeps raining.
The weather is humid and it keeps raining. The place is very beautiful and you can see mountains covered in mist. Almost everything is available within a short distance. Good restaurants, super food and beverages both alcoholic and non alcoholic is available. I suggest carry an umbrella to protect from the rain.

It is a university town with lots of eateries catering to all budgets and including most of the QSR chains.
Transport is a major issue with the autos fleecing outsiders, similar to that in Goa. Min. auto fare anywhere is Rs. 50 which is pretty steep. And there are no taxis.
Weather is reasonable - humid but cool.
There are frequent power breakdowns but most good places have back-up inverters, so it is tolerable.

It's a clean and lively place which is energizing!. While the climate was hot and humid, the warmth of the people was refreshing. Honest and friendly auto drivers and vendors!. Beautiful campus @ MAHE. Nice cafes..example The Tiny house cafe to name one.and being close to Udupi, it is good for beach outings and other outdoor activities. I Appreciate the cleanliness of the public places and true Udupi food at MTR, Woodlands. Really glad. Hope to visit again!

Country inn is Worst service.
Country inn is Worst service. They charged me 700Rs × 3 days =2100rs for chips and biscuits which they kept in my room without even asking me. They never informed me about the charges when I checked in. The person at front was rude. Also they charged me more for rooms than what the booking.com showed me when I booked online. I do not recommend this place because of bad management.

Manipala is essentially a University town.
Manipala is essentially a University town. Everything is geared towards the students. Cost of living is low compared to similar towns. Manipala offers an amazing range of foods from across the globe at very reasonable prices.
A casual attitude prevails everywhere. Places of worship, beaches and shopping are just a stones throw away.
A trip to Murudeswar ( 2 hours away) is highly recommended.
Good place to stay if all you require is a safe Centrally located hotel to keep your bags and spend a night or two.
Green Park Suites is centrally located at Tiger Circle. Close to MIT University and Kasturba Hospital.
The rooms are big in size compared to regular hotel rooms. Bathroom has all basic amenities. The floor gets is a bit slippery though so be cautious.
Polite staff. No breakfast included in price of room but for a reasonable additional cost it can be delivered.

The hotel was easily accessible. There were signs to the hotel on the main road and so we couldn't miss it. The local autorickshaw drivers were also well aware of the location. It was a nice quiet neighborhood and the hotel premises were also very clean.
We got a suite and it was well furnished and had a little kitchenette with a set of utensils that would be sufficient for cooking something simple. If you want to do elaborate cooking consider carrying some utensils.
The hotel staff were very courteous and helpful.
It's not worthwhile. Behaviour of staff is not upto the standard. They didn't see the comfort of tourist whereas they didn't do any service till you pay the full amount before entering to the hotel lobby. Its very typical and bad manners of hotel management. I request tourist to prefer other resorts in place of this one. Really amazing, got two glass only after one day on repeated request. Nothing worthwhile.
Everything except the locker safe, is VERY SATISFYING. the price, the location and the variety of stores right beneath the hotel very convenient. Room service. Very clean. AMAZING SHOWER AND BATHROOM.we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.also right next to many veg food joints and Canara mall having momos and Kathi rolls and Mac donalds
Worst experience, mouldy rooms, dusty furnishings, unhygienic. Had to spent one night coz paid 5000 in advance..I asked them to return some amount after making deduction for one day but they refused, so I forgot the money and moved to another hotel.We would be ill if stayed there for one more day.
I enjoyed my breakfast. The breakfast was served from 7:30 am onwards. I had a good and heavy breakfast as I had to travel back home. Left the place at 8;20 am after clearing the hotel bill. Hoping to be there back again.

Staff was helping and polite. Also this is located in the middle of manipal and every place is nearby only. Auto stand/Public bus stop is near and very convenient. All in all I give 4/5 points.
The hotel manager Guruprasad was fantastic. Very polite and helped us with every aspect of our stay. No disturbance from the hotel staff at all. The location is great too
