The bathroom was stinking and made compliant to the staff and they poured some liquid but it was very bad . Towels are pathetic! Cutlery were dirty and even after complaining the replacement were also dirty . No proper staff and inky trainees were attending the complaints and poor fellows no answer for any thing . Bathroom size especially bath area so small that it is impossible to have bath in that .
Was getting hot water in the Tap and it seems they are depending on solar heater . We reached late evening were not getting hot water and till we moved out hot water was not coming . Only lukewarm water we got . It is high time they change the linen and towels completely and employee regular staff for cleaning and housekeeping . Bitter experience and will not recommend this to anybody . Paid rs 7000 plus per day and awful experience!
For this high price they donot even provide any basic soap and shampoo ! Even you as they will give only two sachets ! We bought this for use !

Mandapam seems like a nice area away from the crowd of Rameshwaram. The main reason you would stay here is of course if you wanted to visit Rameshwaram and Dhanushkodi. It's about 30 minutes from Rameshwaram and 1 hour from Dhanushkodi.
If you're not planning on visiting either of these places, then I don't believe staying here makes much sense. It does have a couple of nice beaches, but apart from that there isn't really anything to do in the area.
