Felt the real meaning of ,,"home away from home"..what a lovely couple u both are .I booked it for a family get together and u never were felt annoyed at any point of time throughout our 3 nights stay. We felt like staying in our own family house .
My suggestion is not to spare so much of your private time for the guests .

Not much to do here unless you plan to stay and drink at the millions of wine shops and bars. The Tagore Walkway was nice, the little park at the base of the lighthouse was okay.
Its a slightly depressing town of mostly drunk folks stumbling about, with cheap booze and cheap fuel due to the union territory tag I guess.

It has narrow roads and is an overgrown place with 19th century infra structure.
There are too many liqour shops, bars, drunkards and street dogs in Mahe.

A lovely place that offers French influenced sites and food. we tried 3 restaurants in the area which offered different food experiences. There are some sites to visit. With the heat during the day, it is easier to hire an Auto-rickshaw or Taxi to look around. The evening walks at the Tagore Park are lovely and present great views of the Arabian sea.
