Even in the hot summer, the weather was pleasant and no sweat. Places to visit in summer are Narayani Temple, Mapro Garden, Wax Museum, Tiger Point, Sun Set point etc. Had food maximum times in Meritas Adore Resort only because the Restaurant was too good for quality and variety.

Scenic Location. Tourist spots are ill equipped with conveniences like rest rooms or toilets. Noisy and clogged roads. virtually no Public Toilet Facilities anywhere and the few available smell terrible and are infrequently maintained.
People spitting all the time and everywhere.
Lots of very expensive Luxury Hotels.
Great if all you want to do is get away from Mumbai City and just chill out with a Bloody Mary or G and T by the poolside for a couple of days.

Lonavla is a great place for a short break from Mumbai city. Its crowded and tends to be noisy. But... there are villas and resorts tucked away in nice corners that do afford peace and tranquil. the road to lonavla...is less than desireable...neither is the exit route.
if you do manage to get there,, the rest is usually a decent fare

We went from Monday onwards so as to avoid the weekend crazy rush ....We stayed close to the railway station so that all the attractions were easily accessible... but then the place is equally crowded like any city ... if one stays little away from the centre of lonavala , then less crowd will be there.
For eating delights, Hotel Chandralok for Thali, Golden vadapao (avoid chillies chutney), Cooper's fudge, Hotel Annapoorna can be tried surely...buy some chikki which is a local attraction...

The overall experience is great and best would love to recommend to others. The host seems nice. The service is best. The balcony view is breath taking. The property is well maintained. The trip is totally worth due to this property.
We had been in one of the most beautiful property of Tropicana Stays named Ignite villa.
Me and my family had a wonderful stay at the property. The property was new with amazing architecture of each room with modern design , the bedding quality was equal to a high grade five star hotel and the linens were of the best quality. We plan to visit once again in monsoon and will surely recommend this property to all my friends who will be visiting Lonavala. Thank you Anurag for suggesting such a good property we will come back again.
Everything except the staff were good. My booking through bookings.com and the hotel was a horrible experience. After having a guaranteed booking against my bank card I was forced to make an immediate payment otherwise my guaranteed booking would be subject to availability. So I had to literally talk to 10 different authorities from bookings and Dukes and still I was forced to make the payment. God Bless them.
Though your hotel is 5 star there were no traits of being that rating. Carpets worn out, Furniture old and otdated. Bathroom and toilet dirty and old. While taking a shower water would not drain. Had to stand in a flood while taking a shower. Music at reception was too loud, had guests could not hear them speak even sitting next to them. Overall experience very disappointing for the price we paid.
I loved the ambience of the hotel a lot. Its a very nice and well maintained hotel in Lonavala. The facilities provided were awesome, the rooms were good and comfortable. The l crew at hotel are very good and polite with customer handling right from booking queries to providing service as needed. Very beautiful walking space, games center, swimming pool, playground for kids.
The location was superb with scenic view all around. Swimming pool was very clean and villa was sanitized before check in. Rooms gave a 5 star feel. Room are really big and spacious.
There is a small garden and a gazebo area to chill.
Best part is the games room which we really enjoyed. Table tennis and snooker. Staff was very friendly. Loved the property. Would recommend.
