SpitiDiaries Homestay, hotel in Kaza

Featuring river views, SpitiDiaries Homestay in Kaza provides accommodation and a garden. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking.

I crossed the mountains with Sanju. It was a safe trip and I was happy to have good conversations at the same time that I enjoyed the nature. I felt connected with him! Spiti Diaries is exactly what I needed it! It is like being at home and I appreaciate how much they cared for me. Manoj was always there to help at any time with good mood. The house is very very clean and beds are confortable. Nooo cold at night!! They can also do the laundry which is useful if you are traveling for a long time. Upper floor has amazing views and a perfect spot for reading, writing or just relax with a cup of tea. I am also thankful to Chering (auntie) who let me see her temple and join for prayer. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ I wish you all the best!!!

Kaza is the headquarters of Spiti district.

Kaza is the headquarters of Spiti district. The people are very kind and friendly. Network reception is an issue but soon Jio will have high speed internet in Kaza. Near by attractions - Hikkim (world's highest post office), Langza (large Buddha statue), Key / Ki (lovely monastery), Chicham (Asia's highest bridge), Tabo & Dhankar (monasteries). Due to high altitude, oxygen is scarce and sometimes roads in and out of Kaza may be closed due to heavy rainfall / snowfall / snow. Best time to visit - July - September.
