Spiti Diaries is exactly what I needed it! It is like being at home and I appreaciate how much they cared for me. Manoj was always there to help at any time with good mood.
The house is very very clean and beds are confortable. Nooo cold at night!! They can also do the laundry which is useful if you are traveling for a long time.
Upper floor has amazing views and a perfect spot for reading, writing or just relax with a cup of tea.
I am also thankful to Chering (auntie) who let me see her temple and join for prayer.

The hotel staff were very polite and room service was timely. The rooms and the entire hotel was very clean and all essential items were provided. The food was delicious with a lot of variety for both veg and non veg. The sound and view of the monastery was also very enchanting.

It's a very beautiful and vibrant town. It serves as a base to explore other areas like Hikkim, Komic, Langza, Chicham, Kibber etc. The town is filled with cafes serving delicious food. The locals are very friendly. Do get Spiti souvenirs from local shops.

Kaza is the headquarters of Spiti district. The people are very kind and friendly. Network reception is an issue but soon Jio will have high speed internet in Kaza. Near by attractions - Hikkim (world's highest post office), Langza (large Buddha statue), Key / Ki (lovely monastery), Chicham (Asia's highest bridge), Tabo & Dhankar (monasteries). Due to high altitude, oxygen is scarce and sometimes roads in and out of Kaza may be closed due to heavy rainfall / snowfall / snow. Best time to visit - July - September.
