Staying at The Pearl Beach Resort, Palolem was an absolute delight! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. We stayed for a week. the apartment was simple but very clean. We came looking for sun, beach and quiet and we certainly found all three. the sunsets were spectacular and the sea was clean, warm and and the beach wide and mostly deserted. There are two similarly priced restaurants within walking distance from the apartment. We ate excellent food in both, including a local fish called Leppo and calamari and the best homemade fries and curry. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We took a local tuk-tuk to go to the market and it was fun and safe. A perfect escape!

Cancabcona is a small town, so it is best to keep your expectations accordingly. Apart from Palolem beach which is the biggest highlight of this place, you can go inside and visit places like Mallikarjuna Temple, a trip to Monkey Island, or boat ride to Butterfly island etc.
Food on the beach was good but was not authentic goan. You can get a better price and more authentic food away from the beach towards the internal areas.
You can get a vehicle on rent and drive around the interior reasons of Canacona.

The beach has become too crowded.
The beach has become too crowded. With the rising water levels shacks are built too close to the sea. I couldn't access my hotel from the beach at high tide/night.
They need to ban straws in all shacks.
The hotel is on the beach. There is nothing positive. We stayed in South Goa for 4 nights - spent 1 night in this property (15th July 2022) and was the least enjoyable night of our stay.
If you are staying in Agonda Beach, I will suggest a different hotel - Forget Me Not (Stayed here from 17th to 19th July). Amazing food, great service, Proper Wifi & Power Backup, right on the Beach.

Very friendy and trustfull staff. Food in restaurant is very good. It was my fourth time in Goa. This place I can recommend at any time. Palolem Beach is not a party place, so it is perfect for everybody who like just to enjoy and relax. The beach is extremly clean, no waste at all.
Location was superb. Very nearby to the palolem beach. Staff was excellent. Mostly I had interaction with Hrithik who was sitting at main desk. Dorms, bed and washrooms were clean and tidy. They had plenty of games available to play in hostel. Food was average and not that expensive too. Overall my 3 night stay was excellent.

Based on money heist theme......I had a great time there..... you don't need to go club and bar for party one of the best party hostel in South Goa..... Staff was very welcoming and helpful.....

The staff is friendly. Helps with everything you need. The cleanliness is maintained throughout. The location is apt. It's just 50metres away from Palolem beach. They also have a restaurant just across the stay. Highly recommended if looking for a stay option in Palolem.

Best place to stay in South goa. There is a beach near by 50 meter. You will feel like it's your own private beach. It's turtle habitat also. Staff are so polite, you can do ur own cooking in their kitchen.
It's in right in front of Talpona beach with awesome facility. Natalie has taken care of each and every required a family will require during their stay. The hotel is right behind and food is awesome too.
