Excellent location, approach road is very narrow but barely any vehicles. Just 10 15 mins inside NH66. Food served by the caretaker was really good & served at desired time itself. He also bought food parcel for us from near by restaurants.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at Tropical Cradle @ River Dale. The location was idyllic, being on the river's edge, and the property was beautiful, well-maintained and very clean. Our host, Venitia, went out of her way to ensure we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay. She was friendly, welcoming, caring, knowledgeable, organised, and attentive to our needs. We truly felt at home, staying with family. During our stay, we enjoyed a boat trip one evening to the mangroves and islands, and a morning of kayaking on the river. Both activities were accessible from the property itself. We feasted on traditional, Manglorian home-cooked breakfasts and dinners from Mr Santan Lewis, ordered through Tropical Cradle. Even our transport needs, whether transfers from and to the airport or Mangalore city by car, or local trips in auto rickshaws, were taken care of, with friendly, local drivers. We could not have enjoyed our stay more, and hope to return to Tropical Cradle @ River Dale in the not-too-distant future. We unreservedly recommend this property and business.

very aesthetic location, the view of the lake is really peaceful and a must see, environment is really calm and cool. service was commendable, owner is really friendly and caretaker is available 24*7. the rooms are really nice and comfortable, bathrooms are huge and clean, no complain on insects, and AC also works well. no fish foul, and the deck is also a beautiful area. a place for good photography. a play area for children as well with slides, etc. cute stay overall.
