The city has high air pollution. It is the gateway to all the prominent northeast locations. Not a city worth taking a long halt. Two nights are decent enough the leave for shillong or Nagaland. Take a tour to Brahmaputra river front.

A very lively and bustling city.
A very lively and bustling city. Not too crowded like other Indian cities, with a population of around 1.50 million. Friendly people, good mobility options, some very picturesque locations within a range of 40 kms from the city. And, did not find too many beggars on the streets. Sensible driving . Most FoBs have escalator facilities motivating pedestrians to use the foot over bridges. Something other bigger cities need to emulate.
Drove around 500 kms in Assam. Was amazed to find most towns and villages garbage free.

4. At Kamkhya with special pass one requires to spend 4-5 hours in queue
5. At Umananda please co-ordiante with boat timings and do not visit around 12.30-2.30 pm as darshan closes between 1-2.30pm
6. On GS road lot of good eating options available. For South Indian food visit Annapurna beside Aykar Bhawan and for North Indian food visit Rang De Basant Dhaba opp. City Mall

Guwahati is a bit crowded city located in north east India. The main town of north east India. The connection with rest of India is preety good. An international airport (LGBI Airport), Two railway stations (Guwahati and Kamakhya) and a Bus Terminus. Construction works are preety slow. Travelling through the cuty might be bit time consuming becouse of slow buses. But in recent times, this has improved a lot. For rest if India, Guwahati might appear to be bit slow but the hospitality and honesty of local people can win hearts of many people. So do visit Guwahati if possible.

If you want a low budget luxury stay in the city just close your eyes and book three little birds homestay. The care taker is just so much innocence and his behaviour is something very much polite. Whenever I need of a homestay or hotel room in Guwahati, I will definitely choose three little birds homestay. Big thumbs 👍 for the owner for maintaining such a beautiful interior, exterior and everything of the hotel(homestay). I was had a great stay there. Thankyou
It is located about 1km from the main GS road. Never expected such a cosy and serene villa within the city itself. The rooms were spacious and hygienic. The food was just mouth watering and very affordable. The best part is that they have a garden, you can sit there and enjoy the serenity around, especially at night. It is a perfect stay for friends, couples and even families.
Mr. Saikia, the manager, was incredibly friendly and shared valuable insights about the hidden gems of the city. The rooms were impeccably clean, and he ensured I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were exceptionally friendly, making this the best stay I've ever had in Guwahati. Highly recommend this hotel for a memorable experience!
Firstly, the apartment was beautiful and cozy. It instantly felt like home. It was spotlessly clean.
Also it's very private and there's no disturbance.
It has everything that we might need for our stay. It also helps that it's located in the heart of the city. Overall a 10/10 experience and I will book it again the next time I visit guwahati.
This property is in the city center with good connectivity. Rooms are a little small to put an extra mattress on. basic toiletries were not provided like toothbrush & toothpaste etc. The staff are friendly. Maintenance is okay as we could find many mosquitoes in the hotel corridor & in the restaurant. Otherwise, our stay was satisfactory.
A good budget hotel in Guwahati, a little bit in a remote area, I booked only because it is run by Tata group, I always use Tata services and Tata products. Nice stay , location wise it's average, service is good, food looks a little expensive. AC's are old one with noise. Rooms are clean.

Very disappointed about the place because I search for 2hours at location but I didn't get any hotel there I asked local people for this hotel but they told there was no hotel at that location and I saw physically that there was a warehouse. Please don't fool the peoples 🙏
I booked this hotel for my parents. My parents loved this hotel and enjoyed their stay. It is very closed to the Sri Sankaradeva Nethralaya - Guwahati - So if you are going to do some procedure in this hospital then you can choose this hotel. Recommended.

Very good property. Lovely and warm Staff. Good Food. Breakfast spread was superb with way too many options. There hotel is very close to the airport and also the Maa Kamakhya Temple. The spa was also good.
The property was neat and clean and value for money but i would recommend this hotel for one or two night stay if you are travelling in and out of Guwahati. Staffs were good.
