Near by other important places like Murdeshwar and others , as it is attracting more pilgrims from other part of India it's developed would have been better than its current situation in terms of roads and other facilities . Anyway good to visit place.

Gokarna is a very quiet place. If you rent a scooter you will enjoy so much your stay driving everywhere. There are several beaches for all tastes, good spots for sunrises and sunsets and good local food.

Can't put my finger on it but it has a weird vibe- I think it's that there are a lot of restaurants along the beach, but they are quite deserted, so there is not much of a buzz and feels a bit eerie.
The main Gorkarna beach was quite dirty. Kudle beach was cleaner, but there was still a pile of rubbish to the side. Lots of cows on the beach so lots of cow poop.
There are some beautiful parts to it, but not worth it for me. I'd go to Goa instead.

Gokarna is the ideal place for leisure holidays. It offers a lot like temples, road trips, monuments but highlight for me was beachside treks. It's amazing experience, one must try.
Availability of bikes makes it very easy to travels and roads are with amazing view, you will cherish every minute you travel.

It is clean and comfortable. There is no bar or communal seating area outside. On a very busy crossroads so noisy most of the time. Food from room service was largely good. It was nice to have a balcony. I’m beach is 6km away.

Very good serene place with a nice history, beaches were clean and trekkable. The crowd was so less that you could enjoy each and everything nicely must go place in my opinion just that take your own vehicle.
Right on the kudle beach, this cute hostel is a must stay if your prime focus is to stay very close to the beach and be around lots of cool cafes. The facilities could be better based on the price that was charged. In terms of facilities I felt it was not up to the mark. The common washrooms were cleaner than most. However, the people and hospitality was top notch. As a solo female traveller I felt very safe and welcome there. Met a lot of great people and the people managing the hostel are really fun too!
Our stay at the bluefin in Gokarna was fantastic! The beach view was incredible, and we couldn't stop staring at it the whole time we were there. The stay was super clean and cozy, and the staff were really nice and helpful. Our friends had a great time. We played cricket and had a blast! It was such a fun and memorable experience. We loved every moment of it! Also u get to meet different ppl over here and build a great friendship with strangers.
Location is perfect, just a 100m walk to the Gokarna main beach. It is a homestay, so the rooms are not too fancy but comfortable. I loved the open area in front of our room which had a table with chairs to chill out or just lie down in the tree swings. The owner Sandeep is a great guide. He gave us a 3-hour early check-in which helped a lot. Right after we arrived, he explained the map of the area and helped us plan our itinerary well.
Rooms were spacious and clean. It's located on gokarna main beach 3km and the view was really nice. , Need bike or car to reach there (rent scooter& car arrange owner pratiksha ). The only issue was with check-in time. Booked room in goibibo, and check in time was 12 pm, which was a little uncomfortable for people who reach in the morning. Other than that everything was awesome.
The hostel absolutely reflects its name. Location wise- very near to the beach and the main city. Surrounding wise- greenery everywhere, hammocks, outdoor space, good restaurant, locals living nearby to have a little bit of the local experience. They also have yoga classes in the morning. Staff are very helpful as well. This place is a vibe in itself.

He has the right contacts and suggestions and the best games to play on a lousy day. Overall, if you're in Gokarna this is the place to be. It is well separated from the crowd and offers a unique experience.
Located near Dubbanshishi beach, 4km from Gokarna bus stand. Suitable for those who want own space and no touristy interference. They have 2 rooms and one kitchen along with spacious veranda. Host stays at ground floor and kind enough to help you with your basic requirements during stay.

Nice place with lot of greenery 💚. Kudle beach is very near. We can see sea but not from our room directly. Once you go to top of balcony sea view is visible.
