Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

We didn't stay in the town which looked to be very busy but stayed at a resort which was located in a secluded valley outside the town. We did stay a few days in McLeodganj but it was too crowded and full of traffic pollution.

Dharamsala is a sprawling, working town in a very beautiful part of India. Unfortunately, the town does not match its surroundings and has little to offer the essential traveller. We went to watch Test match cricket in what is an impressive location but I would suggest that if the ground wants to hold more Test matches and T20s, then more investment needs to be made in the town itself in order to attract overseas visitors.

Dharamshala is a city in Himachal Pradesh that has a lot of attractions and natural scenery. It is the residence of the Dalai Lama and the center of Tibetan culture. It is also a place for spirituality, peace, and rejuvenation. It has two parts: the lower Dharamshala and the upper Dharamshala or McLeodganj. Some of the places to visit in Dharamshala are Dal Lake, Kangra Fort, Jwalamukhi Devi Temple, Tea Gardens, Bhagsu waterfalls and none but the least is the Dharamshala Ropeway

The traffic is poorly managed. The central part should not have ANY traffic, as is true of most European countries. There were NO pavements, and the roads were mostly too narrow to allow the vehicles, animals and humans to navigate in comfort. As a result, we could not go out for a leisurely walk - all we could do was to go from our hotel to the specific site that we planned on visiting, and back.

Dharamshala is good for the salubrious climate and a picturesque place which affords a breath-taking view of the Dhauladhar range of mountains. It has a lot of Tibetan monasteries and shops selling Tibetan food, products and medicines.
There are 4 shakthi sthals situated in the vicinity of Dharamshala. The Chinmaya tapovan is another worthy visit
Best hotel to stay in Mcleodganj.
Location is excellent, it's very near to Mall road (walking distance from Mall road). This is the only hotel in the vicinity which has it's own parking.
The hotel staff is very good, they put their best to make you happy. the front desk is very good and helped us find the right room for our stay with family.
The hotel is equipped with all facilities and is worth every penny.

Fabulous stay with an amazingly warm welcome from Viraj way before my check in time as my room was ready early. Comfiest bed ever. Clean room and bathroom. Very good value for money. Lovely view of McLeodganj. Close to everything you want to do and need. But best of all was how amazing all the guys are who work there. So lovely and fun to hang out with Viraj and Adam. Good for solo or pair female travellers due to the safe atmosphere created by the staff.

Everything. My room and bathroom were very spacious and clean, the staff, owner and his daughter all went out of the way to help us in every possible way and had lots of tips about the village. The food was excellent. And the view … stunning. I didn’t realize it when we booked that we were a cab ride away from Dharamshala but in retrospect that was a plus! Much nicer environment.
The best thing about the Green Hotel is the staff. They are friendly and helpful and courteous. The next best thing about the Green Hotel is the restaurant which always seems to be open. Great food and great outdoor space. The location of the Hotel is very convenient as its close to restaurants, shopping and temples and other neighborhood's. I have really enjoyed staying here.
Staying here for 1 night. Rooms are big and the balcony ng view is very nice. If you have trouble finding it, you call mr pankaj he will assist you .He is a good guy.
Staff is courteous and helpful. Room has hot and cold water. Heater during winters is on extra charges. Hotel menu is good and price are normal

The staff were lovely - very polite, friendly, and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable, but the best part was the view from the balcony and waking up to birds singing in the morning. The location of the hotel is pretty good, far enough from the center to be peaceful, but just a 15-minute taxi ride away from everything.

I've stayed here twice now as it's close to the Dharamshala bus stop. It's also clean, accommodating and affordable. The owners have been very welcoming and happy to assist with whatever I need. Very much recommend if you're not heading to McLeod.

Behavior was good. Budget Hotel with all amenities- wifi, room heater, water geaser, electric kettle,tv etc. Supportive staff and ready to help.. They also arrange for bike/scooty for local sightseeing.
