Breakfast taste was good but we had very limited options as we were asked to choose 2 or 3 items including juice and was prepared accordingly.
Location was amazing and we enjoyed the private beach.
Hopeless and over rated for no facilities.
Very unprofessional team no amenities !
Even hard to find and narrow way to get
No restaurant or food options/Breakfast
Just cheating people with vague picture

From the hotel to the beach was .60p which was cheap it’s a far superior beach than the one at fort kochi that beach was dirty and rubbish compared to cherai beach . The beach wasn’t crowded except wkends but it was full of colour from the ladies saris . Beautiful it was . It’s a long beach and lovely warm sea plenty of places to just sit and read or just tan . The locals if you’re friendly just want to have a picture taken with you they are so friendly . I wish I had stayed here instead of fort kochi . Go to lilliput restaurant it’s amazing . And if your lucky like me you will see dolphins , truly amazing that was

Cherai Beach is a great place for a wind down after the massive hassle of obtaining visa and long flight. Food and drink very inexpensive but do not consume alcohol with your meal as it comes in disguise and may cost more than your food bill!! You will struggle to get a good cup of coffee so take your own brand with you. We recommend Waves Restaurant and there is a hotel (the only one) in Cherai Junction. Fab and exciting public bus ride to Vypen from Cherai Junction then 12 rupees (14p) there and back on the ferry over to Fort Cochin....excellent cheap as chips day out. Auto tuktuks are great from Cherai beach to Cherai Junction.

Not really worth a visit.
Not really worth a visit. Neither the beach nor the sea is particularly clean and the beach is pretty narrow. This may be a result of recent storm damage. It's a local resort so not appropriate to wear swimwear. We enjoyed watching families up from the city playing on the small stretch near Cherai Beach Junction but otherwise it's not a particularly attractive or interesting beach.

The beach is very long and really nice to take a walk.
The beach is very long and really nice to take a walk. I really enjoyed it. If you are looking for a beach with beach bars etc, then that’s not it. The beach is limited by huge stones which are Thread to prevent the high waves from flooding the street beyond. But it offers some spectacular views. Not many foreign tourists in April which is not a problem but just in case you expect to find other backpackers, there aren’t any… overall it was really worth visiting this beach
The rustic and charming ambience of this boutique hotel makes for a relaxing getaway. The rooms are spacious and very clean.. The staffs are available to.provide tea and simple meals as required. The owners are onsite to assist with organsing: Tuktuks, restaurant recommendations, laundry, water sports, ayurvedic massage and airport shuttle service. No ask was too big.
The place is tranquil, lush, meters from the edge of the lake. Across the road is Cherai Beach, where adorable puppies were playing nearby.
The land lady itself was catering to me and was an extremely hospitable person. The property is very well maintained. Room was spacious and exceptionally clean. The back waters right behind the property is such an amazing factor of this property. Cherai beach is just across the road and one could go for an early morning stroll soaking up the goodness of nature by the sea side.
I had requested for Putt and chickpeas curry alongwith coffee for breakfast and it was very delicious and filling.
Stayed in one of the rooms upstairs... Happy about everything... the location, ambience, facilities, food and above all the hospitality... Indeed beyond our expectations... As the church was nearby, we could attend the morning Mass also. The Munambam beach is hardly 2km... and is safe and clean. We all enjoyed a lot... Traveling with my little son who is just 10 months, I was feeling quite safe and comfortable. Happy to recommend this place...
We stayed there 3 days while visiting Cherai beach . Stay was excellent and budget friendly. Spacious room, equipped kitchen, dining area and a balcony. Kitchen was having gas stove and essential kitchen vessels. We purchased some groceries and cooked ourselves. Good room, clean bathroom with hot water, friendly staffs. Walking distance to Beach. Make sure to have a night walk and dinner at the beach side hotels.
The rooms are just amazing, best we had in India. The upstairs area is beautiful, Vishnu is a great friendly guy who helps with everything, the breakfast is a 10+ and the view just… lovely 😍🌴 The beach is a 2 minute walk and you can take a tuktuk to shops restaurants nearby. Vishnu can also arrange a food delivery at the property at night of you don’t want to go out. Highly recomanded 👌
The hotel is beautiful! The location is great with the beach in one side and the backwaters in the other. Staff were really helpful and kind and made our stay even better. They offer many things to do like bikes, pedal boats and tea time! Our cottage was lovely and the pool amazing. I couldn’t stop taking photos of every corner! We already recommended the hotel to friends
What a wonderful "find." The GM - Antony, has a knack for hiring a most sincere & efficient staff. Everyone was "super nice" & friendly. Great food -service w/a smile. Traditional Kerala cuisine - complementary breakfast w/many choices. Fresh fruit & U may order eggs & toast & there's a small buffet w/South Indian "delights". Ocean front or Garden views.
Very nice homestay !
Very friendly & helpful family & with a beautiful room upstairs of their home. It is an independent room with a terrace. The room is new & have all the comodity with a good bathroom. Very good & very happy with. The food ( dinner & breakfast) was very good. Lovely stay, home near the quiet beach.
Modern bathroom: After almost four weeks in B&B and homestays in southern India, finally no more wet feet when using the toilet and washbasin as there is a separate shower.
A spacious room equipped with fridge, kettle etc., large balcony facing the beach.
Owner and his team extremely friendly and helpful.
We had a lovely time at the Cherai beach villa. The location is perfect, for both sunrise and sunset, and the beach is beautiful (with the added benefit of not being crowded!).
Unni is extremely helpful and responsive. And we all really liked Chechi who prepared a wonderful breakfast for us every day.
The breakfast dish Puttu Kondakadalai was delicious and the service was excellent. The homestay location is also very beautiful.ty & service was excellent. We Love that Stay it's very memorable.
The rooms were big, clean and well maintained. The staff were awesome, treated us really well. Food (They arranged Lunch and Dinner from a nearby place) was exceptional, especially the seafood.
