I believe India's fourth largest populous city, so it's huge. Liked the Tuk Tuk rides in crazy city traffic. The museums were good plus amazing Hindu temples. The general vibe of a large Indian city. Felt always safe.

I would avoid taking taxi next time as public transport is still perfect in chennai. Getting around in taxi and auto is faster in this city. You can take a walk even in the night as people are respectful towards fellow human beings.

Beautiful place and nice people, though it was said, they only talk in Tamil, I found it incorrect coming from North India, they helped, in trains, taxi, Ola etc. Nice food. Good beaches, very good traveling measures, nice places around Chennai too.

Chennai is a surprisingly modern city in that its facilities and modes of transport are smooth and seamless. The metro is very convenient. The residents of Chennai, especially at their professions, have a pleasant professionalism and competence. While Chennai is warm, it isn't uncomfortably so.
Property was wonderful and staff were amazing in treating us. Specially the staff at Front desk, at restaurant and special thanks to Gym Chandru anna where I had some great interactions. I also liked the electric car charging facility in the property. There were 4 chargers 2- 7KW and 2-30KW.Property was ideally located near to ECR and other city areas.
Here is the feedback from my daughter Advika (7 yr old):

- She liked the Christmas decorations
- She liked the room and chocolates given in the room
Personally I believe it’s a 5 star lounge. My room was just awesome. I found 2 special people there 1 is Rahul who always use to ask me “Anna idli sambar or dosa you want I’ll bring” 😀 and hotel security, He’s basically a old guard but use he has made my days by just guiding me about the city. How to bargain in market, what to eat and the best part was his behaviour and his smile. Well I highly recommend this property if anyone flying to Chennai… Trust me you gonna love it!!!!
The thing we absolutely loved was the behaviour of the staff. Everyone was pleasant, kind and professional at the same time. I haven’t seen such nice staff members in hotels in a very long time. I think this one thing makes this hotel very special and if I go to Chennai again, I am definitely going to stay here. The receptionists in the evening and the staff at the buffet restaurant were especially nice.
The hotel is situated in the very middle of Chennai so it is very comfortable to go to the places which we like that is the most important thing here. And about the hotel for me i had a good experience here very supportive staff. The people over here are very friendly we can always reach them with any queries. The staff Krishna had upgraded our room and the view which i got was not bad. .

The owner, Shiva, went out of his way to make us feel comfortable and enjoy our stay. He arranged taxis and rickshaw drivers for us, helped negotiate the cost of rides, and helped us plan our sight seeing. When we told him our flight out of Chennai was at 11pm, he offered for us to stay at the hotel until 6pm. He and his staff were kind and generous.
Walkable in 8 mins from the Chennai airport; turn right at the exit, follow the sign boards to Metro station and it's located therein. Helpful if the hotel also puts up signboards giving directions. Staff are helpful and courteous. Small rooms, without much ventilation, but AC, manageable for transit stay for a couple of hours.

This is the perfect hotel for a weekend getaway in Chennai . The downtown area on Main Street is a best kept secret and the G silver offers everything you need if you don’t feel like venturing out.
Nice and clean rooms. Although Hotel is not on main street, it is easily accesible. Very close to Chennai central railway station. Metro station is near. Vegetarian restaurants are near by.
