Agonda is nice idyllic south Goan village with a marvellous beach away from all the madness and the crowds of the north Goa. The area is serene with good number of diverse eateries. There are boating trips, to other local beaches, backwaters. The highlight though is 3-4 KMS Beach: The beach is wonderful throughout the day and night, but best during sunrises and sunsets.
The evening dinners with live music are what travel memories are made of.
Agonda is an experience in itself. been there thrice and would go again in an heartbeat.

The village is very cute and has innumerable shops, cafes and restaurants. We ate very well (all servings are huge and most food is spicy!) There are many hotels; my preference is for the bungalow style hotel that we went to. There are cows ambling around the streets and prices are very moderate. We stayed three days and I found that was about right. It would be worth going for the sunset alone.

Agonda is a great place to relax and destress. Theres not much to do there so go with the intention of just chilling, swimming and eating well. The sunsets are amazing so stay on the beach to watch the sun go down.

South Agonda is a quiet spot with a beautiful beach and river behind the Main Street which can be used to boat and kayak down. The Main Street gets busier the more south you go. The top end is much quieter and peaceful . The restaurants and bars serve excellent food and very good prices. The tree top cafe is has stunning views and the BBQ on the beach at Tropical Taste's was sublime. There are boat trips to other areas if you want this. Overall South Agonda is a beautiful place I would recommend to all.

In the gorgeous clear sea was amazing. The staff were wonderful. The other guests all discreet and friendly but not overly so. It’s India so light fittings etc and all

Lovely, well designed cottages, a very pretty restaurant and dining area surrounded by greenery and the best, cleanest beachfront in Agonda. We experienced one of the most spectacular sunsets we have ever seen on our first evening there Communication with the resort, check-in and check-out was smooth. Staff were efficient, friendly and always helpful. The open air bathroom and shower was a great experience, designed with netting on top to keep out the creepy crawlies. We loved our stay and will be back next year.
Agonda serenity resort is what is was looking for my peaceful vacation after the Covid19 pandemic. The resort is in southern part of Goa and very scenic and away from the hustle bustle of north Goa the view from the restaurant is great, the beach is very neat. The rooms are very clean as well with daily room cleaning the staff is very polite and friendly. This was also my first experience of using the open bathroom it was amazing. We had fabulous stay.
Amazing place if you want to travel solo or with friends or you're a couple. Located just behind the beach. The hotel is quite big and spacious. Great crowd, and the owner Mayur is very friendly and make you feel home. Best place to chill. Rooms, beds and every other place in the hotel are very clean.
This is the place to be if you want to chill in goa without having to compromise on anything. Mayur made my stay extremely comfortable.
It was awsome stay at exotica agonda. The cottages beside beautiful coconut trees felt so natural and walking distance agonda beach, The breakfast was good at exotica. Near by restaurants also good one is carferns bar and restaurants provide awesome sea food. I really like the place.
The property is on one side of Agonda beach and it’s quiet and peaceful there. The property is set in amongst the trees which is lovely and the private bungalows are private looking out to the lake or beach. The outdoor bathrooms add to the feeling of being by the beach in Goa.
Agonda Beach is superb for people who want lil peace from day to day life and the hotel location was superb which is just opposite to the Beach. my kid loved the place. I recommend who wants to travel Agonda. its a budget friendly hotel and the service is also good.
Stayed at Aquilla Hotel (nearby, same owner). Large room with clean fully equipped bathroom. Comfortable bed, great AC, great location right in the center of the beach. Very quiet. professional staff with good English, especially Jordan.

Among top places to stay in Agonda beach. We had booked the beach facing cottage and the views did not disappoint us. The staff is really welcoming and the food is great. Looking forward to getting back to Simrose again!
Man if you visit south Goa this I would always prefer SECRET GARDEN. it’s like peace, beach and you.

The sea view cottage at Beach Chalets was the best place I've stayed in Agonda. The staff are really polite and the food and bar menu us pretty good too. The breeze is also an added plus during the day.
This hotel is right on the ocean. The beach is wonderful and the views from the balconies superb. Its also close to restaurants and shops The hotel is well-build and was quiet in the evenings.
The room was clean, near the beach, breakfast were tasty, they had some indian breakfast and crepes with chocolate, nutela and so on. There were cute dogs in hotel area, the personal was nice.

Location. The property is bang on Agonda beach which wasn't so crowded or chaotic unlike the beaches in North Goa. Also the staff are very courteous and cooperative.
