Hosts were great and helpfull. The place is placed conviniently on the Wild Atlantic Way. There was a safe garage for motorbike. Breakfast was standard Irish, ready on time and tasty. There is a pub and small shop nearby

We arrived a bit late after having some issues with internet and navigation but Seamus had a warm welcome for us regardless. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was fully kitted out so we could warm up our food and make breakfast. Check in and check out was super swift and smooth. Location was amazing. Had a walk on the yard watching sun set over the beautiful scenery. And in the morning while having breakfast watched the cows run back to the fields =) Could have easily spent way longer but unfortunately we had to keep moving onwards with our trip. Highly recommend staying here.

The image of the 'famous' landmark castle is so deceptive. This might be a very old or image with favouritism but the actual path is through scrubland that has rubbish tipped on it, overgrown and the castle itself is not presented well, cared for or easy to access. It's a drinking den and full of litter/rubbish. Very dangerous with broken glass everywhere and filth. Not suitable for anyone but especially those with disability, children or infirm. The town square is good and quaint but the town is generally really run down and many properties are derelict or empty. Really just for the one stone circle, it would be a ten minute stop off going to somewhere else. Wouldn't return here again.
