Armada Hotel, hotel in Quilty

Welcome to the Armada Hotel, the perfect retreat for you to relax after a day spent exploring the natural beauty of County Clare or from your adventures along the Wild Atlantic Way.

Smooth check in process. Room very good size with en-suite where the shower was in the bath. I would have preferred a separate shower. Staff were all very polite & helpful. Food was excellent & plentiful. There were pleasant outside facilities to sit & enjoy a drink.

In the mist of storms, Quilty Holiday Cottages were just perfect. Pool provided the outlet to burn off the excess energy in the kids, Doolin Cave was a great adventure and just 25min drive from Quilty. We mainly cooked in the cottage as I have picky eaters but the Pizza / Kebab shop in the town was great. So fresh and good quality food. Size was a little of the large side but can't really complain about getting too much food.

    Great experience.

Great experience. Hosts were very helpful, gracious and charming. Helped us in the planning for the next day. We wish we had included time for the Loop Tour. Beautiful sunset over the Atlantic Ocean. So many special touches including meeting us with tea and scones upon our arrival. Great breakfast!!

Quilty strand is lovely. Worth a visit.

Quilty strand is lovely. Worth a visit. The Red Cliff Lodge was exceptional. We went on a trip to Moy Hill Community farm and that is definitely worth a trip if you are a foodie. So interesting. The Bellbridge Hotel is also lovely to eat in. Lahinch, Liscannor and Dunbeg all near by. You do need a car here there is no public transport.

I want to thank Geraldine Mungovan and family at Quilty Holiday Cottages for a lovely weeks holiday and we would highly recommend it for any family ..the indoor swimming Pool was such a brilliant asset on an extremely wet week ... Also we are bringing home a special souvenir from Quilty / Limerick as my daughter Aileen McHale gave birth to a beautiful baby boy five weeks prematurely and thanks again to Geraldine and team for all the support ...

This is a fabulous location of you want peace and quiet, but also want to experience the history and culture of Ireland. The cottage was close to many walking routes and tourist attractions and the beaches are clean and full of water activities. The food in Quilty and Spanish point was very good, but he prepared for higher prices than you are used to, especially for supermarket food and alcohol.

Great place to stay with amazing views over to the Cliffs of Moher, Spanish Point, and the Aran Islands. You can see all the way to Galway on a sunny day. Sound of the waves on rocks across the road were relaxing. Apartment was well equiped and the bed was comfortable. Hosts were on hand to answer any questions and have a chat. Quilty/Seafield is authentic Ireland. A place where the Irish go for holidays, so it has a different feel from more touristy locations. Worth a visit if are looking for peace and quiet.

Comfortable and pretty, home-away-from-home style cottage; walking distance/2 min drive from a lovely beach for walks and really close-by to Quilty and Miltown Malbay for shopping and supplies! Maisies is the perfect west Clare spot to chill out and enjoy the quiet and beauty of the area. It was so lovely to be able to have my dog with us too. Lovely hosts who made us feel very welcome and know the area well. Thankyou for your hospitality!

Quilty is a lovely town on the Atlantic Ocean at about 35 min from the famous Cliffs of Moher and 40 min from Doolin. The house is on the ocean, just the street to cross. The apartment was really cosy and large for a couple, equipped with very large heaters to warm up the environment. The bathroom is new and has a large shower. Place quiet enough to rest after a day of work.
