Killybegs is a fishing town with a beautiful harbour with restaurants offering very tasty fresh fish dishes daily, and lovely bars if you fancy a tipple, the people are so nice and always have time for a chat. Killybegs is not to far from the historical Donegal town and the seaside resort Bundoran and lots of other beaches spread throughout the county, well worth a visit

This is a great little town and its growing. It has an amazing little sea port you can walk about and has a few great pubs with great food and of course, iced cold beers. Very convenient to everything if you are visiting this area of Ireland.

This is the friendliest place in the world. So many amazing places to eat with views that are unforgettable. Strangely there are no bins, not even a dog waste bin. This is the only bad thing I can think of.

Killybegs is a beautiful part of the country, fantastic beaches and great for fishing. Highly recommended to anyone, if it isn’t on your bucket list then you should add it! And don’t forget the Seafood Shack, delicious, fresh seafood cooked right in front of you!

    Room is small, but comfortable.

Room is small, but comfortable. The plumbing was not good and the shower was dangerous - the tap barely worked, the water was scalding and not possible to adjust to get cold water. Also, we were in room 9 at the top and right outside the window is an industrial exhaust flue the operates almost continuously and is quite noisy. Otherwise, the staff were welcoming and cheery.

Killybeggs is an ideal centre for visiting Donegal, southern Donegal at least and there is plenty to see and enjoy. The Wild Atlantic Way ( an Irish tourist Board promotion ) is a very good feature, highlighting many interesting local sights Killybeggs is the largest fishing port on the west coast and the harbour is constantly busy. And of course, the seafood is superb. There are lots of pubs and bars, a good variety of all types of shops and of course, everyone is friendly and helpful. The entire area is remarkably clean and tidy, especially when compared to anywhere in England.

I have never been to Killybegs before and more so the Donegal region. But my experience in this beautiful part of was something so special. I got an airport transfer from Josie Boyle and he took me on a scenic route to the front door the Seawinds B+B. The owners met me there there and showed me around. The views from my bedroom were wonderful, the bed was very comfy and the breakfast area/kitchen was excellent. I even got to cook some local fresh fish in the kitchen one of the nights. I have lots of photos to add later on.

Lovely B&B, comfortable beds, clean rooms. Great location in the middle of Killybegs. Breakfasts were fantastic with the freshly baked scones. Fully outfitted kitchen. We were travelling as a large group of divers and the staff were able to accommodate an early breakfast for us so we could make our dive site for the right stage of the tide. Delightful place and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again!

Cathy was the best host I’ve had on my trip. She shared stories, and tips for my next days travel. Her home is warm and inviting and has common spaces that make you feel like you have a whole house. The room was small, exactly as I expected because it was exactly as described and as pictured. But it is perfect for a solo traveller, or 2 people who don’t mind being cozy, or are on a budget.

The views of the bay from the guest rooms were lovely. The rooms were spacious and well-appointed, with comfortable beds and high-quality linens. The bathrooms were large, and the showers nice. Breakfast was delicious! Having some cookies / biscuits available to snack on with our in-room tea service was a nice touch. This made a convenient overnight spot while exploring Donegal.

Everything, The whole building was spotless, the room was really spacious and the beds were really comfortable. Breakfast was perfect, so much choice. Would definitely book again when returning to Killybegs. I was actually surprised at the the value for money. I paid a lot more the night before for a hotel in a different town and it was dreadful in comparison.

The location was perfect- about a 20 minute walk into Killybegs and a short driving distance from other small towns and sites to visit. Very comfortable place. Perfect for 2 people. The bath was so big and lovely to soak in it after a day in the cold. Simple instructions to access the keys and didn’t need to be in touch with hosts about anything.

Very nice, clean B&B in good location in Killybegs. Our host was super friendly, accommodating and helpful. Offered his shed to park our motorcycles as it was raining when we arrived. Helped us to find good spot with nice food and drink. Shown us brilliant driving route with great places to see. Couldn't ask for me more.

Great location and beautiful views from the bedroom. The town of Killybegs is a few minutes away but you feel like you are in the country. Debbie and Damian are great hosts and go out of their way to give you lots of local info. The breakfasts are extra special and delicious. One feels completely spoilt and pampered.
