Great to find a spacious apartment in Castlemaine. Nice village with great pub next door. Welcoming and friendly locals. A central location for exploring Kerry. Host communication was excellent. Very clean property with great facilities.
It is the best. The Pub is just perfect. I would imagine that there are not many of these relics left in Ireland.
The hospitality, room and the food were all first class.
I would actually love to return to Milltown, as this pub is brilliant.

Great views. Great hosts.
Great views. Great hosts. Great apartment especially as everything is new. Recommended eating places are good too. Not far from anywhere on the Ring of Kerry or the Dingle Peninsular. Only thing that could improve things is the ability to charge an EV.

I didn't get the chance to view much this time in Milltown as the reason for my visit was a Months Mind of a man local to Milltown. The people were very warm and welcoming and extremely helpful. A visit to Larkins Pub is a must for any visitor, nice cosy and cheerful pub, even for a Mayo Supporter, the chat in Larkins was lively and the staff were very accommodating.

A great place to stay for trips on the Dingle Peninsula and Ring of Kerry. Not much in Milltown itself, but it's a great base for exploring County Kerry. Two kebab type places, one Chinese takeaway and a couple of pubs, as well as a Spar, so plenty of choice for food.
Absolutely loved our stay here! The room was perfect - lots of space, comfy beds, big shower, quiet. The best thing about Larkins is the bar downstairs. The family that run this place are so lovely and welcoming from the first minute we checked in until the morning we left. Amazing craic with the locals and the owners until the wee hours of the morning, plenty of belly laughs and the pints are very reasonably priced too. If you're passing through Milltown it is definitely worth a visit!
What a delight! A new apartment built by young couple adjacent to their new house, this apartment had all the facilities needed for a very enjoyable stay (only 2 nights but could easily have stayed longer but for onwards travel commitments). It really is a country hideaway with excellent views of Highlands of Kerry. Highly recommended if you looking to stay in Killarney region. Easy access to Rings of Dingle and Kerry and all their attractions.
A lovely house in a rural location. Lorraine was very welcoming and pleasant. She booked a local restaurant for us and her recommendation turned out to be great. We slept soundly in a very comfortable bed and it was so quiet at nighttime. Glad we came across this beautiful house.
