Breakfast was lovely each morning, and the place was cute as a button! Charley, the beautiful, friendly dog on site was adorable. The host, Grace, was very kind and attentive, and her crew were fantastic and worked hard at making sure everyone’s stay was as perfect as possible. A gem in the centre of the vibrant town of Listowel. The room and the hotel facilities were are a modernized version of a traditional grand hotel. The building had a sense of history, situated on the town square and backing on to the River Feale, close to the river path and Greenway.

I happened across the monthly get together of the singers...
I happened across the monthly get together of the singers club in the little pub . It was great to spend the evening hearing lovely songs and yarns and they made me feel special and sang some australian songs for me . There was a young girl about 10 who had the most beautiful voice .i will definately time my next visit to join them again.
This was my second stay at Dalton House. A lovely property, very comfy and clean. Emma and Matt are wonderful friendly hosts with a warm home from atmosphere. It's worth staying here just to meet Walter :) Tremendous value also. Only a few minutes from Leens Hotel for a nice breakfast. Ample parking and bike storage if you intend cycling the Greenway. Will stay again for sure. Michael.
Absolutely fantastic house and location for our family. Father, Mother, Daughter, Son in Law and two grandchildren. We were spending New Year with family in Abbeyfeale and this home from home was a perfect base for our stay. Fantastic communication from booking to checking out and we will definitely be booking again.

Very important for us to have secure parking for our bikes.
Staff were very helpful and as we arrived before 12 midday our room wasn't ready but we were given another room to change into our cycling gear.

The room was very comfy, the breakfast was amazing (we recommend the Irish Breakfast, you won’t regret it!) and the host was so kind to us and available for any questions/recommendations! Our stay in Abbeyfeale is probably our favorite of the entire trip!
