We attended a wedding at the castle and stayed in the lodges. From arrival to checkout everything was absolutely brilliant. Staff were pleasant and helpful. The wedding was absolutely stunning ,food amazing, I would definitely recommend Cabra Castle for a wedding or a weekend break.

The Shirley Arms Hotel, hotel in Kingscourt

The 4-star Shirley Arms Hotel is located in the market town of Carrickmacross, South Monaghan. It boasts elegant rooms decorated in luxury fabrics, free Wi-Fi and a fine dining restaurant.

We required a twin room and the property kindly was able to accommodate this even though we initially booked a double. The staff were super helpful and made our stay very comfortable. Due to mobility issues it was great to have everything so close within the hotel and near the hotel. Supermarket next door and plenty of other shops.

Single or Twin Room in Lovely Country Residence, hotel in Kingscourt

Boasting garden views, Single or Twin Room in Lovely Country Residence provides accommodation with free bikes, a garden and barbecue facilities, around 19 km from St. Columba's Church.

This was my favorite stay in Ireland - hosts are exceptionally attentive! Location is in Nobber (quaint small town), near castles, Kells, an hour from Dublin, and 1.5 from Belfast. Patricia and Tim allowed me to experience the authentic Ireland: sharing their rich history, gardens, and personal stories. I will forever be grateful for my time spent with this lovely couple. They could charge double for the comfortable beds, beautifully appointed rooms, impressive grounds, savoury meals, and concierge services yet I’m thrilled this listing was within my budget.

Kilmactrasna Cottage, a property with a shared lounge, is located in Carrickmacross, 23 km from Jumping Church of Kildemock, 24 km from Louth County Museum, as well as 25 km from Proleek Dolmen.

I loved the offer of a free breakfast, I was just in a rush that morning so, didn't have time to enjoy it properly. I did grab a croissant on my way out and it was lovely to have for my walk to the bus. The bed was really comfy and the house has a really welcoming feel. I was contacted by the owner to let me know that the address on booking.com is incorrect and they gave me the correct directions. Hopefully the website will let them update it soon..

Kings Court is a very picturesque area.

Kings Court is a very picturesque area. There is a lot of accommodation for staying over. There are some lovely looking hotels but I recommend that the bed and breakfasts are very nice and reasonably priced

Parking right outside the courtyard rooms, 1 minute walk which was well lit up to the hotel, good food at bar, good size bathroom&bedroom, smart tv, the maze effect feeling when walking around inside the castle, the exterior of the castle itself, well heated, nice toiletries (including conditioner!), friendly staff, even though our room was not in the hotel itself you still feel very much part of the hotel, nice breakfast, the historic aspects of the castle

Simply perfect, should be a 5* hotel! Food was sublime, atmosphere on point & staff attentiveness to detail was second to none! Hotel was expertly decorated and furnished throughout. Highly recommend & special thank you to Emma G on the reception team who went above and beyond to make our honeymoon here one to remember. Stayed in room 50 (honeymoon suite) and extremely recommend for sheer luxury in one room!

The room was beautiful. It was very comfortable, spacious and clean. The bath in the room was a lovely touch too. The staff were lovely and very accommodating. Louise in the restaurant was particularly lovely and made a fuss over our first wedding anniversary which was so nice. The hotel itself is lovely and the grounds are stunning also.

The facility was beyond beautiful - both indoor and outside. The decorations were lovely in every public room of the castle. Our hotel room was stunning - we were so pleased. Our dinner in the dining room was outstanding. Food was delicious and our server, Brenda?, was just so friendly and fun. A wonderful evening!

The scenery, the room, the food, friendly and helpful staff! Also how close it was to Dun a Ri Forest Park. We walked there and around the park for a fabulous afternoon (take the woodland walk path from the castle to avoid walking on the busy roads).

This is a scam! The people in Kingscourt were of great help to find me a hotel at 10pm. I ended up in Cabra Castle, way more expensive, but worth the money. Go there if you can.

The hotel was OK, but too expensive for the quality of the courtyard rooms, which were slightly dated, while the ensuite was well past it. The food in the restaurant was good.
